I get off the horse. Red gets off and hugs Derrick. I walk to the ranch. No one is outside then I see a face peaking out from the door way. "Hi! I'm Hailey!" The girl says.

"Hi I'm Sarah." I say back to her. "Hi Sarah!" Hailey says. "Where are your parents?" She asks. "Dead" I tell her. "Oh. My mommy is here. My daddy was killed by some bad man" she says. "What is the bad man's name?" I ask. "Mommy said his name was Robin" Hailey says. "If I was there I would have shot him in the back!" She says. I get mad and tackle her. "Never! Talk! About! My! Dad! Again!" I yell at her while she is on the ground. Hailey starts to cry and screams for her "mommy". A women ran out but I could tell immediately, she was pregnant.  Her dark hair, Big Brown eyes and tanned skin tone reminded me of Cleo in a way.

   "What the hell are you doing to my daughter?!" The women asks. "She was talking bad about my dad! So I tripped her and yelled at her." The women walks up to me and slaps me hard across the face. Instead of crying I pull a gun on her. "Don't you ever fucking touch me again" I say pointing the gun at her. "You would shoot a pregnant women?" She asks. "We had a pregnant women once. It didn't work out for her or the baby." I say. Hailey runs inside and I still have my gun pointed. Derrick comes behind me and grabs the gun from me. "Hey! Give that back!" I say. "She slapped me!" I continue. "Derrick, why did you bring this little monster here?" The women asks. "I could ask the same about your little monster. Now go back inside." Derrick says. The women grunts and walks back inside. Red walks behind me. "Don't mind her. She is expecting a baby any day now. It's just hormones" red says. "I don't want to be the one to tell her that her brother died." Red continues. "I want my gun back Derrick" I tell Derrick. "I'm sorry, I don't trust you. You were about to kill Hailey's mom" Derrick says. "You have known me for an hour and yet you know me so well" I say. "It's safe here. You don't have to keep up the badass act" Derrick says. "I will tell Her"Derrick says. I try to walk away. I see a barn and I make my way over there.  I see someone in the barn fixing the hay and feeding the animals. He turns around. I see Robin, I run up and jump on the man. "Dad! I thought you died!" I say squeezing him tightly. The man grabs me and puts me on the ground. "Um. I'm not who you think I am." He says. "I'm Beatle, Hailey's step dad." He continues. I run out of the barn as fast as I could. I sit on the porch next to Red. The porch was pained a nice shade of brown and the house was Gray. It was a nice one story house. "I need your Opinion on something Sarah. I know we just met but still." Red says. "Ok. I'm here for you" I tell her. "Ok, well..... I want to have a baby. But I don't know if bringing a baby into this world is a good thing to do." Red says.  I think for a moment. "See how that Crazy lady and her baby do. If they do well you can have a baby. If not, it's too dangerous." I say. "Thats a good idea." Red says. I smile and nod at her. She gets up and Walks over to Derrick. I sit on the porch for a while longer. Hailey walks out of the house all teary eyed. She sees me. "Hey Sarah, I'm sorry for making fun of your dad." She says. I nod. "Um, I was wondering if we could start over.... and be friends now." Hailey asks. "Sure." I say. "Hi I'm sarah." I continue. "Hi Sarah, I'm Hailey." Hailey says. I was going to leave it there but I could tell she was about to cry. Her Brown hair is covering her face and I felt bad. I sigh. "You wanna be friends Hailey?" I ask. "Yes!" She says immediately. She gives me a hug. She is a bit smaller then me. I just pat her on her head. "There-There." I say patting her head. She squeezes me tighter. "Ok, that's long enough." I continue. She smiles at me and I smile back.  I hear Derrick and Beatle behind us. "Kids will be kids" Beatle says. "Yeah." Derrick replies.
