Beck looked down at the small red headed girl, his eyes wide with fear. The blood dripping from the knife was not hers, but it wasn't his either.
"Beck, it's not what you think," she muttered, holding the knife between her finger and her thumb. "He came at me, I had to do something."
The figure on the dusted dirt floor beneath them had stopped moving; Frank was no longer a wolf, but a lifeless pile of human flesh.
"You have to believe me," a tear formed in her eye and dripped down her poreclain White cheek. "Please, Beck."
A shiver ran down his spine, the wolf inside him exploding to the outside world; his bones started to grind against each other, morphing into his wolf stature.
The red headed girl stared up at the eight foot creature before her, her mouth agape as she stared into his velvet purple eyes.
A small gasp escaped her mouth, then Beck's crystal White teeth were sinking into her glittering skin.
