The night sky, dark yet bright. Empty yet it has hidden secrets. Secrets only seen by those with a clear mind, secrets and gifts that make fairy tales seem normal. We all wish upon the brightest star. But when ones light shines brightly, other lights are forgotten, ignored, lost.
Sometimes, you have to be in the darkness to truly see the light.

Meet Serena Yvonne. A small light in the world full of other lights, to others she isn't special. She is just a normal everyday teenager. Living alone with her mother who was divorced by her father at a young age, her mother keeps her away from all boys. Serena has never experienced love. That part of her life has been eradicated, but ruled by the fairy tales her mother once read to her, Serena looks up at the sky every night. Hoping. Praying. Wishing.

"If I could have only one wish..." She mumbles under her breath as she sits on the balcony with the cool breeze of the night air blowing her long honey blonde hair, occasionally hitting her face but Serena didn't care as her vision was fixed on the nights light.

"I wish... I wish to fall in love. Even if I have no chance. I just want to know what it feels like." She finishes, holding her hands to her chest, casting her wish into the open and clear night sky just how she remembers reading how they do it in the fairy tales she adored and admired.

"SERENA! Bed time!" Her mother Grace yells from down stairs, ordering for her daughter to get some sleep which she obeyed. But even in her warm, cosy bed Serena gazed out at the sparkling darkness of the night, her wish in mind as she feels her eyelids becoming heavier. Sleep calling to her, wanting to embrace her into a land where here wishes will always come true.

"If I had only one wish..." she says softly, her eyelids covering her ocean blue eyes as she lets sleep fall over her, a smile placed peacefully on her face and the safety of the stars watching over her.
