Meeting Sonni

Sonni's pov

Wake up, look around my bedroom, give a sigh and gather my things to start my morning ritual. Every morning the same exact thing over and over. I stepped under the showers warm spray and felt my muscles relax. Once I finished my shower I dressed myself in some red skinnies, a black and white striped long sleeve, green vest and my favorite black asskicking boots!

I grabbed my phone along with my iPod and checked the clock, 7:20, then head out the door. I pulled out my phone and went to my contacts selecting the name Kela from the list.

S: Hey I'm ditching today, mind telling the others?

K: Wtf!? Why are you skipping?

S: You know how the last couple of days went just as well as I do.

K: So what. I'm still going aren't I?

S: Well you may be but I'm not dealing with their shit today. I'm going to visit Yumi in the hospital, and who's fault is it that she's in there? Theirs.

K: Fine whatever. I'll tell the others.

After our little text war I pocketed my phone and took out my ipod, put it on shuffle, then began the walk across town to the hospital. I suppose I should explain what we were texting about. Well a few days ago some of the "popular" people decided to pay a visit to our usual lunch spot.

We were all laughing having a good time. Enjoying our lunches and chatting amongst ourselves. Sadly I only have lunch with three of my friends, at least their the ones I'm closest to.

"HEY! I was going to eat those you know..." "Hahah to bad my friend!" "why would you do this to me?! I thought you loved me!! TnT"

I was laughing at the exchange going on between Manni and Kela when I noticed a group of people come out of the door and start across the grass to where we were sitting. "Umm...guys" They didn't seem to hear me. "HEY!" Everyone got quite and turned their attention to me and I pointed out the group.

They came right up to our spot and stood their just looking at us. "Can I help you?" I asked while giving them a questioning look. Brittany, the leader or whatever you'd like to call her, gave me a nasty sneer "No I don't need your help, what I want is for you losers to leave." At that my friends and I died laughing. "But seriously why would we move for the likes of you?" I asked fighting through a bought of giggles and was followed up by Yumi, "We've been setting here all year, we have no reason to move, we defiantly won't for you guys." The others,our friends, agreed with us. This seemed to only make Brittany mad and she walked up to Yumi grabbed her and slammed the small girl on the wooden table, when this happened the rest of us jumped up to defend our friend. But Brittany's followers got in our way.

Now we don't care what happens to us, but Yumi, when I said small I meant it, she is tiny and even though she acts tough, she can't really defend herself that well. "Heheh I'll make an example out of this one..." Brittany giggled "NO! Let her go!" Manni yelled. I ran passed the preppy girl that was in front of me and left Manni and Kela to take care of her and the other one as i ran up to Brittany.

I wasn't in time though, I got their just in time to hear a sickening snap and see Yumi's head hit the table top accompanied by a scream. I grabbed Brittany and pulled her off my friend then introduced my fist to her face. She fell to the ground then went after my legs, I stepped to the side and brought my foot down on her ribcage.

I looked back to check on the others. Kela punched her opponent in the stomach then kneed her in the face and she was finished, Manni was setting on her attackers chest hitting her with punch after punch to the face. I yelled to the two of them to get Yumi out of here and get her some help. I pulled the bitches face close to mine, "Never fuck with us and expect nothing to happen, you got that?" I spat at her then slammed her head in to the ground and walked off leaving them all behind.

As you would expect we got called down to the principle in the next hour or so. All we got was in-school-suspension for the next week and everyone talking about what happened.

I stopped at Yumi's house and picked up her DS and PSP along with a few games then continued on my way to visit her. Once I got their I stopped in at the gift shop and bought her some chocolate, which is like her obsession, then asked the lady at the front desk what room she was in. Third floor room 207.

Once I got their I peeked in side and seen her in the uncomfortable hospital bed looking as board as can be. She has a broken leg, torn tendons, and tons of bruises covering her face. They would have let her leave if it wasn't for the severe concussion she suffered and because of that she has had to stay here for the week.

"Seems like your having a blast,yeah?" I queried, standing in the doorway giving a small smile. "SONNI! Oh my god man!" She screamed when she seen me. I laughed at her excitement and sat in the chair next to her bed.

"So how are we doing? Any better?"

She let out a sigh "I'm not sure really, the doctors said I'll be alright but they're keeping me here still."

"Don't worry you'll be out soon enough." I say giving her an apologetic smile "BUT! I have a few things to help you through!" I pulled out the bag with the PSP, DS and games then plopped it on her lap. I laughed as I seen her eyes widen to the size of dinner plates and her head turn to look at me. "Sonni th-" I interrupted her. "Wait! Theirs more........and TADA!" I produced the chocolate and she about had a fit,see what I mean about obsession. "And this is why I love you Sonni! If I could get out of this bed I'd touch your ween!" Yumi half screamed at me while tearing open one of her chocolates. "BRUH."

I spent the next few hours consisted of talking to Yumi and telling her about the days that she missed, how everyone is talking about what happened and that all we got was a week of In-school-suspension. The nurses shooed me away at around eleven or so and therefore I said my goodbyes and took off.
