Wolf-Moon
This distance between earth and sky
Not so vast that we can’t see
The same stars in the silk dream-time
So why don’t we share, you and me
Cold night air; the silence it breathes
When for moments
Now folded, moth ridden with time
We were of the same mind
Huddled, clutching divine
And our same soul
With its very own meaning of stars
Not to be studied or muddied
By their mysteries defined
But to be flashlights for lovers
Whose hearts are uncovered
Discovered in those night-lights that shine
