Chapter 10 : A day to relieve

Finally! A day of staying at home. " Rise and shine everyone!" Sheryl shouted on the top of her voice. Today, it was her turn to make breakfast for everyone. When everyone woke up, they washed up and headed to the dining table where there were ham and cheese sandwiches made by Sheryl. They all started munching into their food and started to buzz again. "Guys, what do you want to do later? Watch television? Play board games?" Junkai asked everyone.

Qian xi responded with,"Junkai, why don't we play a game, which is when a scenario is given, two people would need to rebut each other but, with questions." "Nice idea, Qian xi, anymore?" Junkai said. Yuan suggested,"Junkai, why don't after Qian xi's game, we play a game of Alphabet Conversation." Jessica replied with," What is it all about, Yuan?" Yuan continued on with," Well, its like Qian xi's game concept of scenarios being given out but all six would be playing in three teams of two. With the scenario, they ask, rebut and answer but in alphabetical order." "Nice one. But I want to regenerate our childhood lives by playing a simple game of hide-and-seek and maybe we can continue from there." Genevieve said to the group.

"Okay enough talking, let the games begin!" Yuan said in his most excited voice. They then started to play the first game suggested by Qian xi. "Okay, the scenario will be in a kitchen and it will be Junkai and Sheryl arguing. Junkai and Sheryl took their positions and started. "Junkai, i thought we are supposed to put ingredients in first?" "No Sheryl, but do you think there was something wrong?" "What?" "Err... errr..." Junkai stammered. " I don't know what to say..." Junkai said to the group. Yuan then replied,"It's okay, we will continue on." They then continued on with the next round. They played for about another 5 rounds with 5 more scenarios before continuing on with Yuan's game.

" Okay, who wants to say out the scenario?" Jessica asked the group. "I shall do it." Qian xi calmly said. " But before that, we shall get into our 3 groups. Me and Sheryl in 1 group, Yuan and Jessica in 1 group, and Junkai and Genevieve in 1 group. The scenario would be a family of 3 deciding where to go for window shopping." "Let the game begin!" "Anywhere you want to go, son?" Junkai's group said. "But, Mom, I haven't finished my homework." Yuan's group said. "Can lah, go out for awhile only won't disrupt your schoolwork." Qian xi's group said. They then continued on. Soon, it was lunch. "Let's make lunch together this time!" Genevieve said to the group. "Okay! Let's proceed on to the kitchen!" Sheryl said to them.

(In the kitchen)

"What should we cook?" Yuan asked the group. Sheryl replies," U know what? Let's make spaghetti then. "Tomato-based or creamed based?" Junkai said," Let's do voting." The results came out as 4 votes for cream-based and 2 neutral. " I guess its carbonara this time!" Jessica said to them. "Shall we start now?" Qian xi asked. "Of course!" Yuan said. They then started with the cooking. The 6 of them then cooked a big pot of cream-based spaghetti. Junkai then put it on the dining table, followed by Genevieve taking 6 bowls and passing it down. "Smells good! I can't wait to eat it!" Yuan exclaimed. They then started digging into their bowls of spaghetti.

After that delicious lunch, they went back to stay-at-home games. They started the hide-and-seek game. Junkai was the seeker and everyone else had to open all doors in the mansion and went to hide in various areas. After counting to 20, he went to search in the first level of the mansion. He looked at the entrance. No one. He looked thoroughly in the kitchen. Nothing. Everyone had disappeared. He then went to look in the living room. In the living room, there were 2 curtains. He looked in 1 of the curtains. Nothing. He looked in the other curtain. He suddenly felt some resistance. He overpowered the resistance and looked in the curtain. "Found you!" Junkai said to Yuan, who was hiding in the curtain.

"I think the rest are upstairs. Need help?" Yuan said to Junkai. "No thanks, Yuan." Junkai politely declined. "Okay, i'll be in the living room watching TV!" Yuan said. Junkai acknowledged and went to Jessica, Genevieve and Sheryl room to look. Nothing. He then went up to the second floor to look for the rest. He looked at his room. Nothing. He went to Qian xi room and searched thoroughly. When he looked under his bed, he saw Qian xi! "Haha, didn't expect you to find me here! I'll join Yuan in the living room. See ya in a bit!" Junkai acknowledged and went to find the girls. He went into Yuan's room. He saw another 2 curtains and found Sheryl and Jessica. They both also went to join Qian xi and Yuan downstairs. He then overlooked the study table , where Genevieve was hiding. He looked clearly and found her.

" Hi Gen!" Junkai said, while carrying her up. "Hi!" Genevieve said to Junkai. "Let's go downstairs and join them!" Both of them went to join them and After a short break, they played a few more rounds of hide-and-seek.

The 6 of them then went to the living room to switch on the tv for some entertainment." What shows you guys want to watch?" " Maybe let's watch我们的少年时代 " said Yuan. Everyone agreed to him.

(time skip)

After a few more hours, it was time for dinner. " Delivery for dinner?" Yuan asked. "Yep." Qian Xi said. "What do you guys want to eat? Pizza? Or others?" Jessica said. " PIZZA! " Sheryl exclaimed. "Let's order Dominos pizza then." Genevieve said and called the delivery hotline while the rest went back to watching tv.

"Ring!" The doorbell rang. Genevieve went to the door. "Here's your three boxes of xtra large pizzas! Enjoy!" The delivery person said. Genevieve then foot the bill and took the pizzas to the dining table. " Pizzas are here! Time to dig in!" Genevieve told the remaining 5 of them. The 5 of them scurried to the dining table.

They then dig in to their pizzas,savouring the flavour of the pizza and talking about the training session the next day. After the dinner session, they went to wash up and went to the living room to talk more.

Soon it was time to sleep. They said "good night" to each other and went to sleep. Junkai and Genevieve hugged each other before going back to their room for some rest.
