My Broken Mask

Mask on

Not letting you in

This pain on for so long

You put me in a bin

You made me cry

But I didn't let you see

You left me dry

Why won't you let me be

Pain in my chest

Burning sensation

I tried my best

You put an expiration

On my back

My expression

Now cracked

Here on my side

I failed my task

Tears running down

Trapped in your bind

Without my mask

Without my crown
