Chapter 3

Ash Pov:

Serena...

My heart pounded out of my chest.

I smiles brightly as I remembered the memories of each other and the most special one.

I sighed and started to pack my stuff and my best suit.

My flight to Kalos is in an hour.

I decided to get her something.

Well if she won or not it would make her feel better.

I packed it carefully into my bag and went off to the airport.

Serena's Pov:

I finally reached my mom's house and I rang the doorbell.

"Coming." Mom yelled and when she opened the door and saw me, she gave me a big hug.

"Serena! What are you doing here. I didn't expect you to come home this early."

"I've missed you so much and I'm back in Kalos to become Kalos Queen."

"Really? Come inside. We have so much to catch up on."

"Okay."

She led me inside and I sat down on the soft couch.

She sat down next to me and we talked about my adventures in the Hoenn region.

"Have you seen your friends?"

"Yeah, I saw them before I came here."

"Did you see Ash?"

I chuckled nervously.

"He's in the Kato Region but yes I did see him. Clemont was chatting with him through video when I arrived."

"Did you get to talk to him?"

"I only got to say hi because he was signing off when I arrived."

"Oh."

"Do you think I'll ever be able to talk to him again?"

"Of course you will."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, and don't get me wrong. I've seen how he treats you and how he looks at you."

"But that was long ago."

"When he was signing off did anything happened?"

"We stared at each other." I blushed remembering.

"So?"

"I don't know Mom."

"Life is full of surprises."

"Mom. If it would have happened... It would of. And I don't see Ash coming to Kalos any time soon."

"Okay, Well how about we drop the subject and come on and help me make some Poke Puffs for Ryhorn."

"Yay!"

And with that we started making Poke Puffs along with dinner and enjoyed each other's company.
