Chapter One

Kinley's POV
"Can you stop being so mean?" I heard my best friend Peyton ask her boyfriend Jared as they were at the corner of the room. It was finally senior year and we were at the first party of the most popular boy in our school Cameron and for some reason this was the first time I met him.

"No leave me the fuck alone you stupid bitch." He said and she rolled her eyes crossing her arms while he stood right in front of her.

"Maybe I wouldn't be such a "bitch" if you didn't grind and kiss other girls while your still with me." She said and you could tell he was wasted by what he did next. I looked away for a second and before I knew it I saw a bunch of other dudes pulling Jared off of her and Peyton holding her cheek and crying. I ran straight over to Peyton and held her in my arms while she sobbed. All the guys were getting Jared out of Cameron's house and all the girls were trying to make her feel better. I looked next to me and saw our other best friend Katelin but we all call her Kate. "You got her?" I asked and she nodded while I patted Pey on the shoulder and went outside to where Jared was by his red pick up truck with his head in his hands.

"You little asshole!" I yelled and started to run toward him but before I could reach him he got in his car but the dummy couldn't even start his car in time before I opened the door on his about to be sorry ass. I grabbed his arm and dragged him out of the car and pushed him into his car.

"Ow what the fuck you dumb bitch?!" He yelled while trying to regain from what just happened.

"Don't you ever come near her, me or Kate ever again. You are over. You do not put your hands on a girl you stupid piece of shit!?" I said while hitting him and then he raised his hand at me. I grabbed his hand and looked him straight in the eye.

"I fucking dare you." I said and he unclenched his hand. I let go and stood on the curb as he gave me a dirty look, got in the car and drove off to his house extremely intoxicated. I turned around and darted towards the entrance where I ran into someone. I looked up and it was Cameron.

"Hey Kinley? Right?" He asked and I calmed myself down from running so fast and nodded.

"I heard what happened with Peyton, if you want I could give you a ride home." He offered and I shook my head smiling.

"No it's okay I have my car but thank you so much it means a lot." I said about to walk over to the drinks where Kate and Peyton were.

"Can I get your number or something?" He asked looking kind of nervous which I thought was cute.

"Yeah of course." I said and we swapped phones putting our numbers in me labeling myself as Kenny💕. I smiled and waved at him one last time and then jogged over to where Kate and Peyton were with our other two friends Gracie and Gabriela.

"You guys ready to go?" I asked them and Peyton nodded her head yes. Kate took her by the hand and said goodbye to Gracie and Gabriela. They both started to walk off. I grabbed my keys and started to catch up with them. We all got into the car, Pey in the front, me driving and Kate in the back and we all drove off down the street to my house.

It was close to 2 in the morning and we were all super tired so we headed up the stairs to my room and I shut the door. Kate just passed out on the floor so I put a pillow and a blanket on her and Peyton crawled underneath my bed and fell asleep as well. I went over to the mirror and took my make up off, brushed my hair and threw it in a messy bun, and took my earrings out. I changed into a grass green long sleeve shirt that said Nike on it, some black leggings and a white hairband. I crawled into bed next to Peyton and turned on my T.V. and went on Hulu to continue watching my favorite show ever Empire and with that I fell asleep.
