"Ah, this is so frustrating," i mumbled walking through the hallways of the castle. I haven't ran into anyone yet, surprisingly.
I turned a corner and heard a few voices. One was really deep while one was a bit higher. I ran back around the corner quietly and peeked around.
There were three people there. One was a guard from the front of the castle, the next was a red haired man with gold armour and the third man had long purple hair with lots of jewelery. Wow, who needs that much jewelery? He must be the king.
I rounded the corner. The guard saw me first and yelled, "Thats Her!" I giggled.
"I just want to talk to your king," i said as the red haired man glared at me. What?
"If you just wanted to talk then why did you break in?" He asked.
"Ask your guard," i said. "With all my whinning he should have let me in, but nooooo, i had to break in when all i wanted was a civilized conversation. Now my best friend is being chased around the city by your friend," i said glaring at the guard.
"Who are you," the purple haired man asked with a glare. I shrugged.
"My name is akuma. Your king sinbad, correct?"
"That depends whos asking."
"You should speak with more respect," i heard a voice behind me.
Turning around i gasped at the sight of omar."Omar, your back!?"
"Yup." I ran up to his side. Sinbad and the guard went to their swords. Humph.
The red haired guy was about to run at us when the king called him back. "What do you mean?" He asked.
Omar spoke up before me. "I introduce to you akuma nigiha, guardian of the djinns. If you didnt sense anything from the ears and tail that is," omar joked. Ielbowed him when he touched my fluffy ear.
"Never heard of it," the guard said. I laughed.
"Yeah, im not much popular am i?" I said. Omar ruffled my head.
"You were plenty popular with the kou empire. That magi took an interest in you," omar said. I think he forgot we were in the sindrian empire.
"Shut up you idiot!" I punched him on the top of the head, although i did have to jump to reach his head. An irk mark apeared.
"Just what have you come here for?" The king asked.
"Im here to observe how you use your djinn. I cant have you abusing them can i? I wouldnt be much of a djinn guardian then would i?" I smiled. "You seem like the type not to abuse it until the most dire situation."
"I think you should leave," the guard sneered. Man. Is everyone like this in sindria? I wasn't expecting this.
"No," i said, stamping my foot. "I came all this way only to not be allowed to do what i came here for?" I crossed my arms and glared. Omar put his hand on my shoulder.
"If they don't want us here we can go to the next stop," omar said. Our next stop was going to be the fanalis corp. we went there a years ago but they all wanted us to visit again.
"No, no, its fine," the king said. At that point the red haired man spoke up.
"This isn't a good idea..." hmph. Silent type? Yeah, thats it.
"Sure it is! They're guests."
"As a king you should be more cautious," i stated. I uncrossed my arms. I walked a bit closer.
"I could help you get more powerful, you know," i said a bit teasingly as i skipped past them. "I could help you train your palace guards to perfection." I stoped. "But thats not what you want. You dont want power."
I looked back at them. Everyone was looking at me in surprise except omar. "You want the impossible," I clarified. Something i cant give.
