All I know right now is that there are sounds in this world. Sounds that lap up into my ears and slide down my ear canals and root themselves into my brain until I die.
I am running down hall ways and diving through exits and I just know that when the sirens stop ringing, I’ll be safe and sound and I won’t have to suffocate myself for long.
I don’t know if I killed him.
I don’t know who screamed out after him.
I don’t know if this is the last thing I have to do for her.
The only thing I do know is that there is one less bullet in my gun, and if I want to ever get it back I’ll have to dig into flesh.
I guess I now know that I won’t be afraid to.
But the only question that runs through my mind as I fall into the darkness is : How Many Bullets Does It Take To Kill Ezra Fitz?
