All across Cedar Wood drive people were being awakened by a loud banging sound at a front door. Accompanied by the bang was Madison yelling, "Camilla open the door. Please open the door something bad has happened to Seth. He didn't come home last night, please I need your help open up." As Madison was going to bang the door again, the door swung open very quickly scaring Madison.

"Madison what's wrong? Come in." Camilla said moving to the side to let Madison in and pulling her robe more tightly around her to keep the cold out. Madison rushed in and started to yell, and Camilla could not understand what she was saying. "Shh. Okay Madison calm down and talk more softly." Camilla said quietly looking toward the stairs to see if Deacon heard the shrieking, "How can I be fucking calm and quiet when the man I love is missing." Shouted Madison throwing her arms up in the air in a distraught manner, "well first off I'm in pain and have a damn migraine from getting up so fast, so that's why I'm asking you to calm down," sighed Camilla rubbing her temples. Madison took a long breath, to calm her nerves a little bit.

"You are right, but I'm just so worried that something may have happened to Seth, I mean I woke up this morning and all I found was a box," said Madison taking a small white box from her purse. Before any of the women could respond Deacon walked down the stairs yawning, both women stared but for two different reasons, Madison stared because she was shocked to see Deacon without his shirt coming from upstairs.

Camilla stared because she was embarrassed that Madison would figure out what happened between them, Madison tore her gaze away from Deacon and looked at Camilla with a questioning gaze.
"Don't say a word. Now with that said the box, have you opened it?" asked Camilla, "uh no I'm too scared to too, plus it smells horrible." Madison said scrunching up her nose. "Well I would imagine so, there's something dead in the box." Deacon said walking up to, Camilla and kissing her on the cheek, Madison still could not get over what she was seeing. Camilla knew Madison wanted to say something, but was glad she did not.

"Madison why don't you open it?" asked Deacon, "okay I will," said Madison, opening the box. She took one look in and screeched, when the other two grabbed the box out of her hand Camilla felt her dinner from the night before come up into her throat so she looked away, but Deacon just looked in horrified. In the box were fingers that were covering a piece of paper, cautiously moving the fingers out of the way Deacon saw a picture of Seth covered in blood, and a note saying I am coming to get you. "Uh Madison I'm sorry to break this to you, these fingers belong to Seth." Deacon said removing the picture out of the box.

Later that evening after all of the police questions, the three friends were silent with their own thoughts. Around seven o'clock they decided to order in, seeing as Camilla was not in the mood to cook. When Deacon got off the phone with the local pizza place, Madison spoke in a spaced out tone, "we need to tell each other our secrets, before they ruin us."

Camilla just looked at Madison and said, "I have no secrets it's only you two." Deacon had his back turned to the women, and a good thing too because if they saw his face they would know he was hiding a secret that would ruin his life with Camilla. Forty minutes later they were seated and eating their pizzas. "So Madison do you care to share your secret with us." Camilla said in between bites, Madison just looked at her for a few minutes before she answered.

"My secret is that...well the only way I could have passed world lit in high school was if I slept with Mr. Peterson." She said causing Deacon and Camilla to look at her in surprise. Before either one could comment, Madison continued, "on many occasions I slept with him, then one day he told me he didn't want to be with his wife anymore he wanted to be with me, the only thing he couldn't do was divorce her because his mother didn't believe in it. Therefore, he told me that I should kill his wife, and then we would be together. Me being an idiot I followed her home one day, and I pretended to have lost my ball in their backyard.

She really thought I lost it in there she brought me inside, as we were walking through the kitchen I picked up a knife I had found on the counter. Mrs. Peterson had her back turned to me I stabbed her several times, but I will never forget her screaming. After I did it, I ran home, and cried I knew she did not deserve what I did to her. That night my parents were watching the news, her name came up and how the police had arrested Mr. Peterson for her death. The worst thing about it is that Mr. Peterson got life for the murder I did. All those years ago I sent an innocent....well semi innocent man to jail, while I'm free to live my life one day at a time." She finished breaking down and crying.

Deacon and Camilla just watched her cry; they were extremely bewildered to say a word. "Madison....what the fuck were you thinking killing Mrs. Peterson?" yelled Camilla, "did you actually think that he would stay with you, I mean come on after he got tired of you he would find the next young thing and get that bitch to kill you just like he got you to kill Mrs. Peterson." She continued on yelling, Camilla was livid she could not deal with Madison her closes friend being a murderer. "You know what Madison I can't stand to look at you right now, so could you do me a favour get out of my house." Camilla said getting up from the table, "but Camilla.....I thought we were friends?" cried Madison. "Oh we are it's just I don't want to look at you right now so get out." Camilla continued pointing to the door; Deacon had never seen Camilla act this way especially towards Madison.

He started to get fearful just thinking about what would happen if she found out his secret. When Madison left Camilla went upstairs and fell on the bed, Deacon walked in and looked at her. "You know that was really harsh, I mean she looked really upset about it. Can't you find it in your heart to forgive her?" He asked, "I don't know but still I can't believe she went through with that stupid plan. She should have come to me for help, I would have tutored her. I was supposed to be her best friend, so it hurts to know she went through all of that alone. I should have never come back, my life was so normal and uneventful and I loved that, but here my friends are murderers and dying, and I or you could be next." Said Camilla frustrated,

"well if you never came back we wouldn't be together." Deacon said lying down next to her. "That is true but..." Camilla tried to say but Deacon silenced her with a kiss. Breaking away Camilla looked at him and asked, "Deacon what is your secret?" Thinking quickly Deacon began to kiss her, to stop her from asking questions. He needed time to think of how to break his secret to her. During the night both Deacon and Camilla woke up after they heard footsteps from the hallway, "Deacon what was that?" Camilla asked straining her eyes in the darkness of her room, "I have no clue; I'll go check it out." Deacon said getting up from the bed, "be careful," whispered Camilla. As Deacon got into the hallway he did not hear or see anyone, when Deacon was turning, back to walk into the room someone gagged him from behind and knocked him out.

Camilla started to get scared because Deacon had not come back, then all of a sudden she felt the bed move. "Oh Deacon you scared me, I guess it was something outside right?" she asked, but she never got a response. What she got was someone grabbing her and trying to gag her, but she was too quick for that person to gag her. Instead, the person tried to slow her down by punching her a couple times, only a few of the punches missed Camilla.

Camilla could feel the blood trickle down from her face, so instead of waiting to be punched again she ran. The punches did slow her down and they made her balance off, as she was running she stumbled a bit. When she got to the staircase, she never saw the second person until it was too late; the second person stuck out their foot and tripped Camilla. The last thing Camilla felt was her body being rolled repeatedly and her arm break in several places.
