Anna's P.O.V

The bright morning sun awakens me as it shines through my curtains. I lay down for a few minutes only to be interrupted by my phone beeping, signaling I have a text.

Harley: hey! Wanna chill out today? I'll pick you up. :-)

I reply with "Sure thing babe! Pick me up at 11?" as I pick out my outfit for the day. I look through my wardrobe and try to look for something casual and decide on a black tank top with denim high waist shorts and my white converse.

I check the time and its 10:50am so I put on some light make-up. Creating a thin line of eyeliner above my lash line then adding a bit of mascara and light foundation. I decide to leave my hair out, wavy and as I'm walking down the stairs I hear a car horn outside signaling Harley is here.

I hug my mum goodbye and tell her where I'm going and that imp sleeping over Harleys then head out the door. I see Harleys long brown hair in a messy bun and we're wearing similar outfits, tank top and high waist shorts, her looking better of course

"Took you long enough!" Harley jokes and we both laugh.

"Where do you wanna eat? Normal hangout?" She asks me.

"Yeah, sure!" I excitedly respond. Starbucks has always been our hangout. When were feeling down or upset or anything, we always go to Starbucks and I always know to find Harley there.

We arrive at Starbucks and we walk to the counter and order two iced chocolates. We sit down at a table and wait for our drinks to come. While were waiting Harley tells me that she got accepted to NYU and I congratulate her on getting in.

"What about you, have you gotten in any universities?" Harley asks me.

"I'm on the waiting list for NYU, hope I get accepted. We could be in the same dorm or get an apartment together off campus!" I say cheerfully, having the hope that I'll get into NYU.

A tall skinny, very attractive man approaches us with our drinks. His arms are full of tattos and he has one lip piercing and an eyebrow piercing. He looks really familiar; maybe I've just seen him work here before. "Here are you're your drinks ladies" he hands us our drinks and Harley looks at me. I know that look, she finds him attractive as well.

"Thank you" we say in unison and smile at him. He seems to notice that were 'attracted' to him because as he walks away he smirks at us and we blush.

We get our drinks and head out the door, off to the mall. During the walk to the mall, I couldn't stop thinking about that guy. He seems so familiar like I've seen him before I even came to California.

"Oi, didn't that guy look familiar?" I ask Harley.

"The hot one at Starbucks? Yeah, he looked really familiar aye!? I think he went to the same school as us?" she says like a question, unsure of her thoughts.

We walk in the mall and as soon as we enter, approaching us is something I never thought I'd see. Well at least not here, right now. Harley is the most shocked as she stands there, frozen in her spot unable to move or speak and the person approaching us is now getting closer. Shit.
