Healing Harry

Next Morning Harry woke up and wondered where he was.He realized what had happened last night.Thinking about last night bought tears to his eyes.As he was thinking he heard a knock on the door.He stayed silent

"Harry,it's me."came Ginny voice and he relaxed,knowing it was Ginny

"Come in"he said in a broken voice

Ginny came in and sat down on the side of his bed and took his hand

"How are you?Is there any pain?"she asked,gently

Harry shook his head not trusting his voice although there were tears in his eyes.

"Do you want to eat something?"

Again he shook his head

Ginny sighed.She knew that she shouldn't force Harry to talk or he would withdraw from her.

"Do you want something?"she asked again just as gently

He looked at her and said "Can you stay here and hug me?I never had anyone do it to me before."he said,innocently like a child.

She nodded and went closer to him hugged him pulling his body into her.She was surprised at the grip Harry was holding her forcing his body into her as tight as possible.His face buried in her neck.She rubbed his back comfortingly.

After a few minutes he said "Ginny?"

"Yes Harry?"

"Do you think I am a freak?"he asked in emotion-choked voice

She pulled back but didn't leave him and looked at him but his head was down

"Harry look at me." he slowly looked up and looked into her eyes and was surprised to see no pity there just care,compassion and love....for him.

"You are NOT a freak.You have the kindest heart in the whole world.I don't know how you became the person you are after all your so-called family did to you but you are.You are the sweetest person I have met.And Harry I and we all will always be here for you.If you ever wanna talk then we are here.Ron's here...Hermione's here....they are your best friends...and we love you.You are not a freak."

Harry just looked into her eyes and said "I don't deserve your love,I don't deserve anyone's love.Sirius always said that he loved me but look what happened to him because of me "He said as more tears flowed down his cheeks.

"That's not true.Harry,tell me,when you have kids would you or would you not sacrifice yourself for him/her?"Harry nodded still looking into her eyes. "That's what Sirius did from his point of view.That's what your mum and dad did from because from their point of views they saved the most important person of their life.They didn't die to save Harry Potter,the hero,they died to save Harry,the best son and godson anyone could have."

"Do you think they would be proud of me?"He asked

"Of course they would.I am proud of you,my family is proud of you so there is no way in hell that your parents won't be proud of you."

"You really think so?When I was small,I used to think my mum and dad didn't like me,I thought they thought I was a freak too.It's not true,right,Ginny?"he asked like a child confirming his ice-cream is the flavour he wanted.

"Right,Harry.It's not true.You are a brave,sweet,caring and loving person.Do you know why everyone is willing to give their lives for you,Harry?"

He shook his head

"Because you are special.And I am not talking about your Quidditch abilities.You are touched and I am not talking about this."she said tracing the lightening bolt scar on his forehead with a finger "I am talking about this."She said touching his heart. "You have an amazing capacity to love.People respond to this love and love you back.Now if Lucius Malfoy or his death eater friends are complete and utter idiots to not feel this love then it is their problem not yours."
