So very sorry I have not updated I guess it's the struggle of having to not have your friends and co author with you to write a story with. I also have to deal with being a cartoonist, having to deal with deadlines and I need to study for the test/make up standards.

*** The day of the baby shower***

Jinx Pov

Okay so today the is the baby shower and I'm already late COME ON!!!!! At least I got Joeys gift, only a few more weeks until Joey gives birth. "12:45 P.M."- I said to myself checking the time on my phone. I totally shouldn't have over slept till 11:30am, then again it is summer. "12:45 P.M."- my phone showed on the screen when I got there.

"Sorry I'm late!"-I said.

"Oh your not late, your on time"-Chase said.

"Huh?" i asked confused.

"We thought that you'd be late so we came five minutes earlier"- Jaxon said.

"AARHHHhh you could have told me! I had to run here!'' I said irritated.

"You like to run your the star athlete on the track team.Besides if we told you then you would have been more late." Mel tried to explain.

"Whatever. Let's prepare for Joeys baby shower!" I commanded.

"Yes Ma'am!" Everyone said jokingly.

We put blue and pink streamers around Chase's living room. We put Joey's presents on a table covered with pink cloth. We also prepared food because why not it's a baby shower/reunion/party.

CHASES POV

"Joey went for a walk so she shouldn't be here for a while," i said.

"How long is a while?" Eli asked.

"About twenty minutes." I replied.

"We better hurry it's twelve minutes already plus the give for waiting for Jinx so that is seventeen minutes ALREADY!!!" Eli said

"Hey it's your fault for waiting instead of not preparing!" Jinx defended.

"We better hurry"

We were already done with the preparations and food do we just went to find hiding spots, when we heard the door open.

"Quick hide!" Eli whispered to us.

I was under the table, Eli and Mel were behind two chairs, Jaxon was behind the curtains.

"Huh?" Said Jinx.

*CREAK*

"Fuck!" Cursed Jinx under her breath. As she was trying to find somewhere to hide. She saw the grandfather clock and tried to stealthily move towards it, as jinx did I so she tripped on my foot that was underneath the table I was hiding under, Jinx landed near the twins. Mel tried to pull Jinx toward her when she was falling but it seems that as she fell she hit something and made it fall. It was too dark to see.

JOEYS POV

*Crash*

"Huh what was that?..... Chase are you in there?" I said opening the door. "Hellooo?"

That crash could have been some glass from the neighbors... Yeah that's what it was, yeah let's go with that. I walked in and put my stuff down near the couch.

"SUPRISE!!!!"

My friends had been hiding behind the couch, table, the curtains, etc. I turned on the lights. There was Jaxon coming from behind the curtain, Mel and Eli where behind the chairs with Jinx and Chase from under the table.

"Joey this is your BABY SHOWER!" Mel said to me in a sing-song voice. "Uh are you okay Jinx?" Mel asked.

"I'm okay," Jinx replied,

Near the table Chase was standing was shattered glass and red liquid was near it.

"Uh I think we should disinfect that?" I told Jinx. While I directed her to the bathroom I told everyone else to clean the glass.

We (Jinx, I and Mel who decided to tag along) went to the bathroom; Jinx's injury wasn't serious. I got some tweezers to get the glass out, we washed the injury, put some rubbing alcohol, and dressed her wound.

"It burns?" Jinx whined.

"Well duh it's alcohol, Jinx. It's suppose to do that," Mel told Jinx.

"I knew that," Jinx replied bitterly.

After that we went back to the party. We played games, had a few laughs, the gifts they gave will be useful, the cake they had for me was in the shape of a pacifier; it was so cool. After everyone left Chase and I cleaned up and got ready for bed.

*A few hours later at 11:30P.M.*

Ahhh a cramp hit me painfully, ahh there it is again.

"Ahhh!!" I let a small gasp escape me. "Ooooh," I groan as the pain increases and it comes faster.

"Joey are you ok?" Chased asked half asleep.

"My stomach hurts?" I cried out.

The pain started to become unbarrable, AHHHH!!!; wait could this be a contraction. Oh no this is too soon I'm not due yet.

"Chase I think it's time to GOOO!" I yelled in mid contraction.

"You mean the hospital?"

"YES! What do you think I MEAN IN tHE MidDLE of the NIGHT With this Pain!!!" I screamed at Chase.

"Go downstairs Joey, I'll get the keys"

I carefully walked down the stairs supporting myself on the railing so I wouldn't fall and end up in a miscarriage. Chase followed me soon aiding me down the stairs and into the car. We got into the car and Chase drove as fast as the speed limit allowed him. During the ride me and Chase exchanged very colorful words to each other; well mostly me.

"Joey breath slowly, remember the breathing exercises; ooh ooh ah ah ooh ooh ahh," Chase tried to console me.

I tried as he said and it only numbed it by not at all.

"AAAAHHH!!!"

Another contraction hit me, they were coming even faster and sharper. We finally arrived maternal ward in the hospital, a bunch of nurses rushed to my side and set me on a wheel chair. One of the nurses asked Chase for the basic information. They (the nurses) wheeled me into the elevator and into a room, the nurses quickly changed me from my night gown into the paper gowns they had. I then put into a room and put onto a bed with lifts(?).

"Miss spread your legs" The doctor told me and I did as I was told.

*Skip the birthing*

Chase POV

"Yeah, Just put the children up for adoption," I heard a female voice say.

I look around the corner and saw Joeys parents.

So this is it folks, again I apologize for not updating. I just have a hard time getting motivated and I feel like I'm doing this for nothing. But I enjoy writing this for you guys. So yeah this is peace out.

Sorry, we haven't updated for a little over a year, because we don't go to the same school anymore, so it's kinda hard to write when you don't see your co-author everyday like you used to, sorry about the wait guys but, I love you all, thanks for your patience, and once again I'm sorry
