In 1984, a man named Harris Burdick walked into a publishing company and asked for someone to review his work. He brought a series of images, each with a sentence from the story they belonged to underneath them. The publisher loved them, and asked to keep them overnight. Harris Burdick agreed, and promised to return the next day to retrieve the items. However, he never came back. Harris Burdick had disappeared, and has yet to be found. The images have been published, and this story is based off of the one called Another Place, Another Time.
I wrote this story for my English class. I spent a long time on it, and I didn't want to get rid of it, so I posted it here. I did not come up wit the idea of this story, nor the cover. I am 13 years old. This is not plagiarism, or anything like that.
