His gaze sharp as a razor, lifeless eyes looking straight ahead at the path in front of him.

Like a toy soldier, dead , boring and most of all not even a sense of exclamation.

A noise sounded above us. The noise like the clang of a metal door, then all I heard was our footsteps, unevenly echoing the tunnel.

I was like a ball of anxiety, looking around to check out the surroundings. But he was just calm, not even a drop of tension.

I guess he's used to it.

Polluted water dripping from the above ceiling, trickling my eardrums. Cobwebs everywhere like powder in my stuffy nose , this man clinging  my hand as tightly as vines like he is dying to never let go.

It will definitely leave a scar,a hollow big one.

There was a punch of light in the darkness, leaving bright little dots in front of us.

Stars?

The reality struck me right in the head 'Think again.'

The sound of deadly flapping wings, the terrifying screech of hungry demons, billions of their eyes gleam in the dark.

This ain't gonna be good. Part of my nightmare, the thing started to aim me and lashed out its wings towards me ,spreading it's raging beak that was strong enough to break a wall.

It flew across my head and scratch me with its long filthy claws, slapping me back to hell. Another one came as fast and accurately hit my head backwards that I dunked my whole body into a puddle, scratching myself on the uneven floor.

Hold on,something's not right here.

Where's the guard?

Oh no! For god sake, you can't just leave me here!

I was in charcoal dark but the demons can somehow detect me and targeted me like a swarm of bees preparing their stings.

Moving quickly whilst crawling on the floor made me feel safer and my trembling hands search the floor for something I can protect myself with.

Stay calm, Casey. Stay calm.

I made a swift move like rowing paddles on a canoe which was about to hit a high tide. Carelessly, I stumbled onto something. It was twitching and it took hold of my damp shirt and pulled me over.

Screaming louder than ever, I felt long lengthy nails digging in my skin, scaly skin that was unpleasantly visible by its reflection by the light,it had a hideous monstrous face.

A harsh cry cut my voice out.

"Help me! Please! I'm your brother!"

My , my what?

I stared at this unlike human nor creature, literally shocked in tears.

What is my brother doing here? No,it can't be! Keep your focus, Casey!

The demon birds started to back away, retreating as  a sign of defeat. They disappeared back in the dark where no one knows what's within.

Are they afraid of this thing that self claim my brother?

He took me by my arm.His soothing eyes reminded me when I was young ,those determined yet selflessness eyes trimmed down my soul, his pleading and caring voice sounded exactly like him.

All of a sudden, my heart sank and wanted to tug into his arms like it felt before. The game of tug a war in my heart has already began.

"C'mon, Casey. Help me up!" He said in such a angelic and lovely voice, like a melody in tune despite his 'unhuman' features, locking into my eyes with a sense of responsible and musculine.

He held out a hand, painted with disgusting green black scales. I hesitated, cold sweat made my shirt stick on my back, mind rushing in ice.
Biting my lip, I felt a force that I couldn't escape nor withstand, like under a curse, my arm was pushed reluctantly forward to pull him up.

A wicked smile creep up his face, eyes turned to adore and amusement, he chuckled at the sight of me, leaving me in astonishment.

Something in him changed. His fingers turned to twigs, those pleading eyes was entirely black with no iris or pupil, his mouth gash open with satisfaction, twisting his neck with a slight crack, spreading dark heavy wings at the back of his shoulders victoriously , shaking off his shapeless skin like a wet dog.

What  have  I  done?

"Hahahaha... Such an easy prey." It circled me with wide blind eyes, gesturing like a royal.

I blinked my eyes, and followed his gaze. " Who are you? And what do you want from me?"

I admit my voice cracked and he laughed in vain.

"You don't have to know, sweety. This place is full of impossibles, all that you can't figure out."

He smirked in an unusual way, checking me out with the corner of  his eyes, irritated by my sight.

He flew above me and struck my head that hit the ground, sending mixed signals to my brain. He chained his sharp claws at my neck, slightly clawing at it. I felt a ticklish drip sliding down my neck. Glaring at him doesn't help.

And then, I saw it. An opening of a silver pipe triggered with dripping water above, almost holding itself from bursting. I take hold of his hands and wrestled him to the side. His strength was like a pit bull, wings began to shake with anger and horror. Something hot flickered in his gaze, ready to kill.

I let out a scream and push him to the side with all of my strength. His claws caught my arm, leaving behind a scar. I fought back and ignored the pain and bend my knees as low as possible. Recalling my yoga teacher's instruction,I  jumped and shoot up like the kickstart of a truck.

Hanging onto the pipe, I managed to force my weight down and twisted it open. Water sprinkled out and started spraying towards the long end of the tunnel.

It did make the demon cry in agony but it turned around and roared hastily at me, ready to lunge at me.
Just the sight of him makes me gag, all scaly and slippery, reminded me of a phyton ready to hunt.

This is not gonna end well.

I gasped as he pushed my body to the cold wet wall, hammering my head hard and punch the air out of me. He grab on my shirt and pulled me upwards, lifting me off ground.

I was breathing fast, as he chocked me with his cold blooded palm, squeezing it tight every minute that made me flinch.

Holding on a dagger which I didn't know where it came from, he let out a breath on both sides of the dagger, forming a mist on it and wiping it off until it shoned in the dark. The fake angel before had been replaced by a different demonic blood, toxic and no sign of mercy.

He steadily took the dagger and brought it back to prepare his full energy before aiming straight to my heart.

Well, this is the end. Goodbye world.

I shut my eyes close, praying to God in my last moments.

He let out a striking roar that made my heart slamming  painfully against my ribcage, an awful sound of blood splattering filled the air. My ears rang and saw blurry visions.

There stood a figure, bow and arrow in his hands, he ran towards me and took me by my shoulders and shouted: " Are you okay? "

Do I look okay to you?

The demon was laying in front of me, his eyes slowing fading to grey, his bones sticking out, the body started the rot and was gone by the wind, vanishing in thin air.
