After singing her way through multiple musical soundtracks Poppy arrived at her new London home. She hadn't texted Lily to tell her she had got there yet so she hoped she was still home. She carefully climbed the stairs to the fourth floor and knocked on the door of her new home.
"Remus is that you come in!"
Poppy pushed the door open and walked into the partially empty living room and coughed loudly. Lily, who was sitting on the couch look up and squealed, she jumped up to hug her best friend.
"I didn't know you were coming today!"
"Yeah, I thought I would surprise you "Poppy laughed as they pulled apart and Lily ran towards the door.
"Come on we can start bringing up your stuff" The red headed girl was gone before Poppy had even made it out of the apartment. The girls carefully carried a box each back up the stairs and on their way back to Poppy's car they were met by Remus.
"Remmy! Come on we need you" Lily smiled as she dragged her friend down the stairs, Remus was confused and tried to ask what was going on. Poppy followed the two to her car and grabbed a suitcase from the back seat, Remus and Lily both took a box each.
"I'm Remus by the way" The tall, lanky boy sheepishly smiled at Poppy and tried to stick his hand out from under the box to try to offer her a handshake, which Poppy awkwardly accepted.
"I'm Poppy"
"I know. I mean Lily's talked about you before" He stumbled over his words and then he tumbled into silence which continued until all of Poppy's belongings had been piled into the apartment.
The three started to moved Poppy's stuff into her room, Poppy carefully arranging her belongs to make sure she felt comfortable. They piled her books onto a bookshelf on the wall opposite the window and Lily went to order them pizza for dinner.
Poppy and Remus continued to unpack, they had finished putting all of her books and other belongs out on her desk and shelves and they we both now hanging her clothes in the wardrobe. Remus hummed as he hung t-shirts up and the room was relatively quiet until he giggled. A bubble of laughter fell from his lips and he immediately stopped when Poppy looked over at him to see what he had found so funny. He was holding her t-shirt that had The Beatles on it but as actual bugs.
"Where did you find this?" He turned the shirt around and Poppy covered her face which was reddening with embarrassment.
"Lily got it for me for Christmas "
"I want one, it's quiet funny." He smiled shoving it on hanger and sitting down on the single bed under the large window.
"I'm hungry" just as the words came out of his mouth Lily shouted that the pizza was here and they had to come into the kitchen if they wanted some.
Once the pizza had been demolished Remus said goodnight to the girls and left. Lily and Poppy completely unpacked all of Poppy's belongings and agreed that a trip to Ikea was needed desperately.
Poppy went to bed and scrolled through instagram before she went to sleep, 2 notifications.

She followed both boys back after realising that it was Remus and JAmes, Lily's boyfriend before falling into a dreamless sleep.
