~Rebecca's P.O.V~

'Rebecca wake up!'

I instantly groan, why? why Monday?

'Evan go away.' I groan, covering my head with the pillow.

'No. We're late, I need you to get up.'

I roll my eyes at him, couldn't he wait until tomorrow?

'Why did my mom give you a key?' I murmur, feeling his weight on my back.

'because she loves me. Even if she didn't give me a key I'd still be able to get in anyway since you never close your damn window.' he warns.

Let me introduce Evan. My neighbour and my best friend. He's been my neighbour since we were five, we've been best friends ever since he moved in. His mom and my mom work together and my mom introduced her to the place. safe to say, I'm thankful.

Evan isn't just my best friend, even though I wouldn't admit it to anyone else, I've been crushing on him ever since I could ever remember.

Theres something about being absolutely comfortable around someone, only one person that attaches to them, a way you couldn't be attached to anyone else. He gets me and I've just grown to accept that nobody else will.

'You seriously need to get up, now. You know what Higgans is like, first period on a Monday as well.'

I raise an eyebrow, looking at my best friend.

'Have you done the homework?' I ask, my voice still hoarse from awakening.

I slip one of my legs out of the covers, just to show I'm in the middle of getting up. Getting up is one of the hardest things to do for me. How do people just get up and get on with it? Or even in those dillusional Disney movies when the princess gets up, sings and starts prancing around the place like some fairy. Bullshit. Maybe they're not teenagers, but its highly unlikely for anyone to get up with that much energy.

His lips pull up into a smirk, his eyes gazing down a little.

'What are you looking at?' I follow his gaze, noticing my bare legs. I roll my eyes playfully, stretching out my legs, my Arctic Monkeys T shirt just about covering me. 'You know I don't sleep with pants on, whats the big deal?'

'It just never fails to excite me baby girl.'

I roll my eyes yet again, watching him lick his lips to gain some moisture.

'I'll meet you downstairs.' I groggily reply, getting up and walking into the bathroom.

I hear him chuckle and his footprints leave. Hes a pain in my ass.

I do the usual, shower, hair, teeth, makeup.

I was never big on the makeup thing, I liked what made you look natural.

Once I've finished up, I settled for a plain maroon t shirt with rolled up sleeves and a pair of denim skinny jeans... with my converse, of course.

Walking downstairs, I notice Evan eating the breakfast my mom probably made for me, with an Orange Juice in his hands.

'Ready buttercup?' He playfully flirts, eyeing my outfit choice of the day.

'What about breakfast?'

'Oh I ate it for you.'

What?

'Well congratulations Evan, we're stopping at Starbucks on the way and you're buying me coffee and a muffin.'
