Rain fall

Howling of wind running through the trees
Making them dance so gracefully
A sudden boom of a giant storm
Well thunder doesn't scare me anymore
A flash of lightning can cause some fear
But I think it's so pretty it brings me to tears
I'm older now yet I'm still not grown
I know this because I play in the rain fall
It's just rain, what do I watch it for
You see rain but I see so much more
It's just rain, I've seen plenty of times
Sure it's true but it's how I pass the time
I know that it's just water to you
But I can hear the song that it makes

When it rain the forest sings in harmony
From the birds up in the sky to the frogs down by the creek
The water gently hits the ground
Making it's pitter patter sound
No more war no enemies
Just me and you doing what we please
Jumping in puddles and having fun
We're kids again when clouds cover the sun
It's just rain, eventually you'll get bored
I know it's rain that's what we're playing for

Sure it's just rain to you but I'm having a great time
Singing to the beat of natures song
Won't somebody come over here and sing along
We might get cold but hey we will be okay
But for right now it's raining so let's go play
