GRAY'S POV
"Grayson! Come on! It's time to go!"
"Coming!" I shout, as I finish packing the last things. I close the boxes and head to the front door. Before I get into the car, I take one last glance to the house. It's funny. Few months ago I was calling this place my "home". Now, I don't really know what a home is anymore. It's just that it doesn't feel the same. At least not after the accident.
"Are you ready to go, son?" My dad asks, as he puts some boxes inside the truck.
"Yeah, just giving it one last look."
"You know you can come back here again, someday."
I roll my eyes. "Ha! Yeah right. And look through the old family pictures and get all the painful memories back? No thanks." Bitch you thought.
He lets out a heavy sigh before telling me: "Grayson, I know it's not the same, but-"
"Why don't you just sell it anyway?" I cut him off.
"Your mom loved that house so much. That's not what she would have wanted."
