❝It's not the words you speak, but the way you say them that matters. People may hear your words, but they feel your attitude.❞

                                                                              - John C. Maxwell

"I can hear them again, Umbratear. The voices keep calling me, I have to g-" The russet feline began, before quickly being cut off by her black colored companion.

"You know I won't allow it. I can't let you run off to your death. I won't." His voice was deep and gravelly as he spoke, a fire burning deep in his blue eyes.

"I can't ignore it anymore, I just... I can't!" The panicked female spoke out, taking one last glance at her camp, before quickly running off. She ignored the calls from Umbratear, continuing to run further and further from her home.

As she grew weary, the voices in her mind began circling, chanting louder and louder with every breath she took. All at once, she collapsed to the ground, her body slamming into a sharp rock. Pain screamed throughout her entire body, until she closed her eyes and felt her consciousness slip away. However, the voices persisted on and on, until they suddenly stopped, and she awoke again. To her surprise, there was another cat, perched magnificently atop a stone. The feline had marks all over its pelt, strange patterns that made no sense to her.

"Where am I? Can you help me?" She called out to the stranger.

"Hearken, young Horizonsky, for this is only your beginning." The cat leapt down from his throne, a majestic aura about him.

"What do you mean? Who are you?" Looking at him, he began to circle about her.

"Me? It matters not. You, young gladiator, are who matter." As the strange cat continued circling her, other cats began to appear. They were all practically transparent, with what looked to be stars across their pelts.

"What am I here for? Why do you need me?"She looked around at all the ghosts, recognizing one in the crowd. "Cinnamoncream..?" She looked at the dusty colored feline, her amber eyes widening.

"We believe in you, Horizonsky. But you must believe in us. This is the way things have to be, so listen carefully." Cinnamoncream responded, her green eyes bright.

"You must become one with the Inanis." Another cat spoke up, stepping forward.

"Allow your soul to bleed through and become conjoined with ours."

"Let them intertwine and become locked."

"Focus."

"Breathe."

"Steady."

"Hark! Horizonsky, you have allowed yourself to be recognized by Inanis, and it is pleased. From this day forth, you will be known as Horizonstar, leader of the Enigma and bearer of the void."

"I don't understand! What is this Enigma, what do you mean?"

"You will know in due time. You must go!" The first cat ascended back to his perch on the rock, as the visions of the others faded.

"I'm confused! Why won't you give me any answers? I haven't a clue as to what it is you want me to do!" Horizonstar panicked, before feeling herself travelling away.
