Albus x reader

Shocked

A lot had gone down in the past few months . Y/n and her three Hufflepuff friends Diggory Stella and Josey had found a painting that had told them a story of family that was on the run . Y/n has had a dream about her family and one night the four set off to wales they barley made it half way before two MACUSA aurors followed them causing the to head back to Hogwarts . Which on rerun had gotten their brooms confiscated .  Y/n was so caught up in her adventure that she didn't even know Albus had his. The agreement of being friends had been pushed a side due to the fact that Y/n had gotten a boyfriend . It was a bit of a shock for the school. Not that she had a boyfriend but who her boyfriend was. It was none other than James Sirius potter. Albus along with Scorpius had felt like throwing up at the news . Scorpius had ask what she saw in him besides looks . Albus too was at loss.
It was only recently announced that the Yule ball would be held in a month right before departing for the holidays . Even though they no longer had the tournament they kept the ball as a memorial to Cedric Diggory . Albus and Scorpius got chill at the name due to the events that had happened .

It was now a week before the ball and still had no date . He really didn't want to go but Ginny his mother had insisted on him going . He was hopping to ask y/n since her and James had, had a bit of a falling out but to his dismay they had worked it out. He knew he really shouldn't be a git but as Scorpius said you must be what you were meant to be. It wasn't hard for Albus because he kept seeing the two snogging on the couch when Albus had to talk to his cousin Rose for a near second which to Scorpius was heaven .
It was now 1 day away from the ball and all that had happened was that 1) Albus had no date 2)Scorpius asked rose 3) she said no 4) there were no classes 5) Scorpius asked again 6) she said no again . So it was very boring . The kids where all scattered about the castle watching the clock . Albus had finally mustered the courage to wake someone . She said yes but due to their relationship it was only friendly . The girl he had asked was his cousin rose . She had one condition . One dance and then I can dance with who ever I want . He agreed also not wanting to waist his time .

Finally as the sun came up the next day everyone was excited . Albus had walked into the library to find Scorpius but all he got was James hovering over y/n as they kissed infront of the fire . Jame had gotten up and left after saying good bye and y/n parted her own way. She headed to the the owl tower . Albus took this as a chance to kill to birds with one stone . (No pun intended at all cause that is just bad) he needed to send a letter and also talk to y/n . He raced up the stone step slipping a few times due to the ice. He found her stroking the owls. He sent his letter and then stood in front of y/n.he couldn't talk so he did what he shouldn't have done . He leaned in and kissed her . Y/n was taken by surprise but melted . She placed her hand in his hair and they kissed . Albus had gained confidence he had never had. He pushed her up agains to cold stone wall as he deepened the kiss even more. His hand on her waisted pressing her against him . The kiss lasted for only a bit before y/n made a sorta squeal . Seeing as one can not squeal when they are kissing someone. "She pushed with her ands as Albus lost his balance and fell. "Why- why would you do that to me and to James?!" She questioned . He hadn't really thought about that then again he didn't really think at all. "You kissed back ." She glared at him . "Doesn't mean anything." He looked at her . "Yes it dose it means you like me ." That's when a sharp sting was spread through his cheek. "You Albus Severus Potter will NOT tell me how I feel ." She walked away most likely heading to her common room to get ready . Mental note for Albus . Never piss off a Hufflepuff  unless you want to die . Albus walked back to the Slytherin common room to get ready . Scorpius was already ready . He was dressed in a very expensive dress robe and him hair was comes neatly . Albus walked and took a shower before changing . He looked in the mirror and inspected his cheek . A small cut was in the center of his cheek . " what happened?" He turned to look at Scorpius . " y/n slapped me ." A small pause was in progress when a smile fired on scorpius' face and he broke into a fit of laughter . " she-" he gasped ." Slapped you!?" He puffed trying to find air. "That's hilarious !" The two boys head to the great hall or at least the stair case.

Y/n was still in her room changing when Stella walked in . "Wow. Y/n you look amazing . "

Y/n blushed before doing the final touch ups on her hair . The two girls walked to the stair case. Stella went a head while y/n collected her nerves . James stood at the bottom waiting for his date. Albus rose and scorpius stood by . Scorpius had asked a ravenclaw .  Y/n breathed and descended the stairs. James smiled widely at her. Albus had a much different expression . His mouth hung open and his eyes sparked . "She looks so -" rose was about to say something but got cut off by both Scorpius and Albus. "Beautiful ." They all walked in . James was quite happy. He could take his eyes of his date . As cute as it seems it was more that he could take his eyes off the tight top half . Albus too could stop looking though his eyes were glued to her smile that never faltered . The night was so grand . Albus had forgotten Christmas Eve was tomorrow and that they would spend the holiday at their grandparents . The night came to a close around 1 or 2 in the morning and a few had already gone to 'bed' .
