Chapter 2

Ravens POV

It was the day before school started after the holidays and well i wasnt thinking about that, that was far away from my mind.

Right now i was in the pub with my Beata discussing pack buisness as James has seeked asylum, im not sure what to call it so im going with the human term here but anyway he has went to our neighbouring back and seeked refuge and considering we had a war with that pack in the mid eighties and him being an ex pack alpha it could cause problems and start another war, we have alot of secrets that in the wrong hands could be damaging.

My Beata came back to our table with two pints of laguar, im seventeen but who cares "thanks!" i said and took a sip and he did aswell "right tell me all i only got snips!" i asked and he nodded but before he could speak i smelt my mate.

I snapped my head around and smiled when i saw her "i cant believe it!" i heard my Beata say "what?" i asked keeping my eye on Miss Pringle "its my mate!" he said and i looked at him "who's that?" i asked as it is common for a two wolves to share a mate.

"that woman beside your teacher!" he said and i looked over and Miss Pringle was wioth someone that smelled like her sister. She was looking at John with a puzzeled but detailed look. She nudged Miss Pringle and pointed to the empty table beside us and when Miss Pringle looked over she did a small gulp which made me frown slightly.

I had seen her earlier today and she seemed her normal self but somethign was up with her but im guessing its cos she is scared around me soemthing that is hurting me alot, my own mate is scared of who i am tha only downside of having a human mate.

I turned back to John and we both took our eyes of our mates and i could see by Johns face it hurt him as much as it hurt me "back to buisness!" he said and i nodded and took another sip of my beer, im gonna need alot to get through tonight.

"okay so what is aparent is, he went to the pa-" he was cut of by Miss Pringle and her sister sitting down and as he was a loud speaker they would have heard 'Pack' so he had to use some clever word play,

"-neighbours....yes our new neighbours he went to them." he said looking at me and i nodded and he smiled and Miss Pringle and he rsister went into there own conversation. "so he has went to our new neighbours and he is just staying there but he knows everything about us he was our a-" he had to change the word again,

"leader, he was our leader!" i said and he nodded and i saw Miss Pringle glance over at our conversation and raise an eyebrow "yes so he was our leader and he will know everything and you know the risks at that, what do we do?" he asked and i sighed and thought about it,

"if it was up to me id kill James but thats my opinion!" John said while taking a sip of his pint and thats when Miss Pringle looked over. I laughed lightly "not the only one trust me but i dont want violence in this im not doing that, im not repeating the eighties!" i said and he nodded.

"but what do we do then?" he asked and i sighed "okay lets think about this logically!" i said and he nodded "okay if he says nothing and we go in with a peace treaty there gonna ask questions. If we go in before he gets a chance to say anything and charge there gonna retaliate badly. If he says something war will be starting!" i said and he sighed and slumpoed back,

"what shit have we go ourselves into!" he said and i nodded "okay how about this, we ask him back to the pa-" he went to say it again "house, back to the house!" he said and i just looked at him,

"no, no hear me out. If we get in before he has a chance to say anything and say we made a mistake and ask him back we could save us all some bother!" he said and i pondered the thought "i am not dmitting i made a mistake wheni didnt make one, say we were to harsh but are sticking with our feelings and thoughts but he has alot of trust excersises to go through, if he acce[ts and hasnt blown us!" i said and took a sip of my pint and he nodded,
