~Underswap Undyrus~

Mess

Undyne had just finished working on Napstaton's body when Papyrus walked through the lab door. "Sup, 'Dyne..?" He put out his cigarette, not wanting to smoke up the lab.

Still in a working mood, she looked around the lab. "Well, I finished my project," she gestured to the working robot body that Blooky was now controlling. "and the lab is a mess..so I'd better clean it." She put away some tools as she spoke. "You can come back later if you want..I don't want to bore you by making you just watch me walk around the whole time."

Papyrus shrugged and leaned against the far wall. "I could get this done for you in about a fourth of the time it would take you to do it..then we could hang out, eh?" He watched her as she paced in front of a shelf, looking for the place to put a box. Letting out a sigh, he walked over and helped her, putting it on the high shelf she couldn't reach. "Lemme help you.."

"Thank you..but it's rude to have someone else clean your mess.." She looked back at the table where Napstaton sat, waiting for her. She walked back over to him and ran some quick tests before letting him go. As she had done that, Papyrus had used his magic to clean the lab, unbeknownst to Undyne.

Looking around again, the lab was spotless, and Undyne was speechless. "Heh..now let's go to Muffet's or something. You need to get outta the lab sometimes..Maybe we can hang out with Alphys and Sans."

"Y-Yeah..okay.." She cleaned off and changed out of her lab coat, now just in jeans and a black T-shirt.


-Le Time Skip to Muffet's-

Papyrus and Undyne were sitting at a booth, waiting for Sans and Alphys. Sure enough, Alphys made a scene busting open the door with Sans on her shoulder.

After Muffet had hissed at her to quiet down and the walls had stopped shaking, they both sat down. Alphys next to Undyne and Sans next to Pap. 

"Brother, why do we have to meet 'here' of all places? You say I can't have sugar but- you bring us to Muffet's-" Sans sat up and looked confused. Papyrus hadn't even had a reason to be here, he just wanted to relax a bit.

"Lighten up, Sans. You know your bro's just lazy as ever..probably just wanted to annoy us with his puns and shi-" Papyrus gave Alphys a death glare, so she decided not to finish her last word.

"I-I think his puns are actually funny.." Undyne, who had been quiet since the other two arrived, suddenly spoke up. Sans looked worried and disappointed, while Alphys looked confused.

Pap gave a smirk. "No one's ever liked my puns before..seems a bit 'fishy'.." He looked at Undyne after delivering the bad pun. She smiled a bit.

"Brother! Why!" Sans whined and Alphys grunted. 

He chuckled and sighed. "Sorry bro. So what do you guys want to order? I know Sans wants tacos.." Raising an eyebrow, he looked at the girls.

"I'll have some donuts.." Alphys shrugged and Undyne nodded, clearly wanting the same.

He turned to Muffet at the counter. "Alright..two donuts and some tacos, please, Muffet..?" 

Some hissing.

"Yes, I'll pay my tab soon.." Papyrus turned back to his friends and grinned. "So how's your training going with Alphys, bro?"

Sans smiled widely and even Alphys grinned. "SHE'S THE BEST, PAP! I'M SO CLOSE TO BEING PART OF THE ROYAL GUARD!"

"Yeah, he's doin' great, Pap. You should see this little punk in action someday.." Alphys continued to smile, and soon after, the food arrived. 

After everyone had eaten and Papyrus had gone through a bottle of honey, Undyne looked at her phone and smiled nervously, her speech speeding up. "Thanks for the food- I-I'll see y-you guys later-uh.." She rushed out of Muffet's and towards the lab, stumbling a few times, but keeping her balance.

"I'll go see what's up with her..Thanks Pap." Alphys stood up and walked out, leaving the brothers in the booth.

"We should go too, Pap!" 

Papyrus sighed and got up, walking with Sans until they caught up with Alphys at the lab. She was trying to force the door open. 

"What's wrong..?"

"The door won't budge-"

"Let the SENSATIONAL SANS try!" Sans sent three bones at the door. The door though, only opened so it would not be damaged, letting the bones into the lab. Through the open door, for a quick second, Papyrus could see Undyne rushing into the True Lab with a box, almost being hit by the bones. 

"You guys stay here and try to find another way in.." Pap suddenly disappeared and was inside the True Lab, seeing Undyne rush down the hall. He followed her at a distance and could see what was waiting for her at the end...the vending machine...She was restocking the Chisps, though why she was so urgent, he couldn't understand.

He waited for her at the exit, and when she saw him, her eyes widened and her face went blank as she turned on her heels and walked back down the hall. "Nope." He appeared in front of her. "Let's get back upstairs."

She frowned a bit. "Alright..but just say I was watching anime in the back room.." She blew a strand of hair out of her face.

"Deal." He teleported them back upstairs and opened the door, telling them what she 'was' doing.

"That nerd.." Alphys smirked a bit and Sans jumped up.

"CAN WE ALL SPEND THE NIGHT HERE TONIGHT, BROTHER?"

"Bro, that's up to Undyne."

"I-it's fine..It would be fun to have a sleepover with you guys.." She shrugged a bit.

"Sounds like a plan.." Alphys picked up Sans as he cheered, and then brought him inside. "Hey, the lab looks cleaner than usual..what'd you do to it 'Dyne..?"

"A-actually, Papyrus did it..though I asked him not to." She jokingly glared at him and he smirked. "Thank you, though.."

"Heh..it was nothing, really."

Sans, on Alphy's shoulders, suddenly had an idea. "LET'S PLAY TRUTH OR DARE TONIGHT!!"

"That'd be a great way to pass the time tonight. Good idea, Sans."

"Yeah..I guess we could play..Undyne..?" Pap looked at her, asking if she wanted to play.

"U-uhm..sure..sounds like fun.."


[Hellooooo..So this is my first Underswap Story, and my first Ship Story. I'm planning on adding some kind of drama later on, because what's a story without a conflict?? Anyways, I hope you enjoy this first part of the story.]
