I was currently waiting for my boyfriend, Max, to show up for our anniversary date. After 2 hours I gave up. Before I walked out, I asked a waiter for a check and he was very attractive. He had big curls that reminded me of ramen noodles and big Brown eyes. "How may I help your beautiful self tonight?" He asked with a genuine smile. "Can i please get my check?" I asked while blushing. "Your date didn't show up huh." He said. "Yeah. He's a total ass." I said with glossy eyes. "Hey don't cry." he said. "How bout I get your number then maybe we can hang out sometime." He asked smiling. "I would love that." I say. "I'm Jack. Jack Avery." "Y/N. Y/L/N." I say. We then traded phone numbers and I left.

When I got home I saw something I really wish I didn't see. "Max?" I say my voice cracking at the end. "Oh shit Um hey babe." He said. "Who's the fuck is this?" The girl he was making out with asked. "His girlfriend. Well ex girlfriend so you can keep him." I say while I let a tear fall. "Baby please don't leave it was a mistake please." Max says as I start to pack my stuff. I ignore him and once I have everything I leave. I text the one person that has helped me tonight. Jack.

Me: Hey Jack can I know we just met like 30 minutes ago but can I stay at your place?

Me: thanks I'll see u in a bit.

I drove off to the adress and knocked on the door. I see a sleepy looking Jack open the door. "Hey princess." He says. "Hi Jack I'm sorry if I woke you up." I say looking down. "Don't even trip about it. Come on in." He says with a warm smile. As soon as I sit at the couch I immediately start crying. "What's wrong princess?" Jack asked worried. "He was kissing another girl when I got home from the restaurant." I said sniffling. "He doesn't deserve you. You are beautiful and sweet and caring and if he can't see that then he must be legally blind." Jack says. I look up at him and get lost in his eyes. I notice he's leaning in. I lean in too until our lips finally connect. I immediately felt fireworks going off throughout my body. And this lady's and gentlemen, started a beautiful relationship.
