Chapter 3

*Summer's POV*

 *beep, beep, beep, beep, beep* I wake up to the sound of my alarm clock going off. I get up and do my morning routine in the bathroom and go back to my room. My mom told me last night that we were going to luch with the Espinisa's. So, I pick out a pair of black high waisted shorts and a grey Rolling Stones tank top and my red Vans. It's 10:30 now and we are leaving at 1:00. I grab my skateboard and run downstairs. I'm just gonna ride around town until we need to leave. "Goodmorning" I say to my mom. "Morning" She says looking up from her laptop. "I'm going to ride around for a while" I say holding up my skateboard. "Be careful" She says looking at me. "I will" I say walking out the door. When I get off the porch I set my skateboard down and I was getting ready to get on when I heard Matthew call my name. I turn around and see him waving to me. "Hey!" I yell so he could here me. "Hey, where you going?" He asks. "Just riding around, you know, to get used to the town I guess." I say looking at him. "Would you mind if I join?" He asks smiling. "Not at all!" I said pushing the hair out of my face. "So, how do you like it here so far?" He asks riding up to me.  "It's okay, It's diffrnt than Cali." I stated. "Yeah, i've been there a couple times with MagCon." He says squinting. "It's amazing" I said "Yeah" He said looking at me. For the rest of the time we just talked about ourselves. It was 12:30, "We should head back, I have to finish getting ready for lunch!" I say riding towards home. "Oh yeah, I totally forgot about that!" He said skating past me. "Hey! Wait, I'll get lost with out you!" I yell after him. "Hahahahah" He laughed and kept going. "Matthew Lee Espinosa wait for me!" I yell. He turns around and slows down. "Only for you Summer Rae Jones" He said bowing down. "You know my middle name?" I ask . "Of course, I watch all of your YouTube videos!" He said. "You? As in Matthew Espinosa, watched my YouTube videos?" I ask. "Yes I did" He said laughing.

 We were done eating lunch and me and my mom were walking out to her Jeep. "Bye Summer!" Matthew yells getting into the car with his mom. I just wave backand getting in the car. I feel like I've known him forever. :So, you and Matthew ehh?" My mom asks wiggling her eyebrows. "Mom! We just meet silly." I say loking out the window. "So..?" She says. I laugh and we pull up to our house. It's only 3:00, so I text Matthew. 

 To: Matthew :)

  Hey, do you wanna come over and swim?

 From: Matthew :)

I'll be right over! :)

I go to my dresser and get out a turquoise bikini with black tribal print on it. I walk into my bathroom and throw my hair up in a ponytail and get two towels out. I walk to my phone and put a waterproof case on and walk downstairs. "I'm going swimming" I tell my mom. "Okay" She replys. *Ding dong* Matthew's here. I walk to the door and open it to see Matthew shirtless. Oh my Jesus. I couldn't help but star. "Summer? You okay?" He laughs. "Uh, yeah" I say blushing. "Like whatcha see?" He says winking. I laugh and motion him to come in. "Come on" I say walking to the patio door. We get out and I set my stuff down and I was sitting down when Matthew picks me up and puts me on his shoulder and throws me in the water. "MATTHEW!" I scream. He sits there on his knees dying of laughter. "I'll get you back Espinosa." I say getting out the pool and walking to my chair. I look at him and he's staring at my body. I blush and sit down. "You know, you're pretty cool" He says getting up. "Yeah, yeah you too." I say shoving him. He laughs. "Matt? Come here you have something in your hair!" I say standing up. "Okay" He says walking towards me. "Just kidding" I say pushing him into the pool. He surfaces and stars at me. I'm dying of laughter. "I hate you" He says getting out. "Mhm, I told you I would get you back" I say winking. "Okay" He says rolling his eyes. "Hahaha" I laugh. He just looks at me. "Be mad if you wanna be, I was just being fair." I says smiling "I'm not mad" He says laughing. "I was kidding" He says walking towards me. I run from him and jump in the pool. I surface and see him jumping in right beside me. I scream and swim to the steps. "Come on Summer, just swim." He says hanging on to the side of the pool. "Fine" I say swimming back to him. When we get tired of swimming we get out and sit by the pool. "You know, I never thought I would meet you. Much less become friends with you." I say looking at him. He sits up and smiles. "I never thought I would become friends with someone so beautiful" He says. I blush and look away. "I should head home, but we should definitely do this again" He says standing up. "For sure!" I say watching him get his stuff. "Bye Sum" "Bye Matt" I say jumping on his back. "Ahh!" He says tumbling over. "Didnt know I was that heavy" I say huffing "You're not, You just surprised me!" He says helping me up. "Thanks" I say walking towards the gate "See you tomorrow" He says walking to his door.
