"IN her hand, a thick red-tipped axe. She held the handle under a firm grip as the other female cowered behind her, her heart beating as fast as a race car.
"L-listen," the trembling female stuttered as she hugged her knees against her chest. "I-i don't want J-Jimin anymore. You can have h-him."
Rolling her eyes, Hana turned around to face the trembling female. She loomed over her as she set the axe on her shoulder.
"Rosa, do you know what you've done?" Hana said with a firm but gently soft voice as the female shook her head, still shaking madly.
"You've made Jimin-oppa have bad dreams. It's all your fault, Rosa. All your fault..." Hana chanted the last three words as she raised the axe high above her head.
She slammed it down to hear a loud, bloodcurdling scream. A scream that would be heard by none other than-"
Jungkook stopped telling his story as Jimin walked in, Taehyung whining as Jin groaned and Hoseok clung onto Namjoon.
"Did I interrupt anything?" Jimin asked as he hid behind the half open door, only visible to Jungkook who was seated cross-legged on the bed with his hands on his lap.
"No," Jungkook lied as Jimin opened the door wider, seeing the other boys sitting on the floor and Hoseok clinging desperately to Namjoon. "Just a horror story I was telling the guys." Jungkook said as he climbed into the desk chair.
"Oh, sorry then," Jimin apologised as he went over to the bookshelf, grabbing out some books and papers and a thick folder before sitting at his own desk. "You can continue telling the story. It won't bother me." Jimin said as he flicked through piles of paper and what looked like schoolwork.
Hoseok frowned. "Kookie! Why was the story about my sister and her best friend?!" He exclaimed before standing and hitting Jungkook in the shoulder.
"Because, it was what came to my mind first. So, I might as well. And... you-know-who is Hana's crush, right?" Jungkook said.
"No, that was so many years ago. She probably likes someone else now." Hoseok replied, looking over at Jimin, who was still unconsciously flicking papers with Jin by his side telling lame dad jokes while he just nodded, occasionally laughing.
***
"SORRY, I didn't mean to knock into you." Hana whispered as she bent down and picked up the papers and books that fell all over the ground, shoving them into the boy's arms, before hugging her own books and running along.
Jimin looked at the disappearing silhouette of the girl against the shophouses and orange turning purple turning blue night-evening sky. He wondered why the girl's features looked so similar.
Then he remembered.
The girl from his dreams? The girl that killed all those others?! She really exists?
Jimin shook his head.
No, no she does not. You remember wrongly. He thought as he continued to climb the few steps into the school compound.
The truth was, Jimin heard Jungkook's story. The whole story. It was an exact replica of his dream the previous night. The one he told only Jungkook about. But... he never added the detail about what the girl looked like.
Wait.
The girl looks... like Hoseok. The smile, the eyes. The eye smile. Everything was identical.
***
"HOSEOK-hyung! Hoseok-hyung!" Hoseok groaned as he felt vigorous shaking and two hands plastered to his bicep. He tossed the other way and the shaking stopped for a while, before continuing.
"If it's not important, then don't wake me up for it, please." Hoseok said as he lay flat on his back, opening his eyes partially.
"There was another murder! Another from our school! Look, look!" Taehyung said while shoving newspaper in Hoseok's face.
"Song Rosa," Hoseok whispered. "Just like the story Jungkook told us. Do you think that means something?"
Taehyung squinted his eyes to look closer at the fine print newspaper article, with a picture of the girl's body. It wasn't as bad as Mina's case, but definitely horrible.
"What would it mean? That Hana murdered her?" Taehyung's eyes grew large as golfballs as he said it.
"No way! My sister is an innocent gem. She'd never kill anyone." Hoseok emphasised the word 'anyone' as Taehyung just shrugged, every one in the room already awake.
"Serious? Is Song Rosa dead? I wonder who did it..." Jungkook trailed off.
"Remember your story?!" Jin exclaimed as Hoseok groaned.
"Hana. Would. Never. Kill. Anyone!" Hoseok practically shouted as Jimin stormed into the room with dark and heavy eye bags and messy strangled hair.
"Jimin, what happened to you?" Taehyung asked as Jimin sat on the desk chair.
"Another dream.. a horrible one. I dreamt that Rosa was murdered. I watched from the eyes of the murderer, and she was a girl. She was wearing our school uniform, but I didn't manage to see her name tag..."
"You... didn't dream that Rosa was murdered. She really was. Look." Taehyung said as he shoved the newspaper in Jimin's face.
Thanks for the positivity on my previous chapters! Really an inspiration to keep me going on writing this! :)
