We are looking for books that include some but not necessarily ALL:
1) An Asian character (that isn't merely a side, one-off character for diversity) - important!
2) Anti-stereotypical Asians (so no excessive eating of rice/noodles etc. unless there is a very specific reason)
3) Books that showcase rich Asian culture
4) Characters that aren't just Chinese or Korean or Japanese, but Malays, Singaporeans, Indonesians, Laotians, Vietnamese, Thai, all kinds of Asians!
5) Books that promote peace between races and not supremacy
Fanfictions are an OKAY here - as long as they comply with the above criteria and basic Wattpad guidelines.
Now - reading lists.
We currently have SIX reading lists: ANTI-CLICHE, EMPOWERMENT, RENEW, BEAUTY IS INSIDE, DEFYING NORMS, and FRIENDSHIP. They should all be pretty self-explanatory, but if you have any doubts, do comment them or PM us to clarify them!
You may pick up to three reading lists to add your story to after reviewing. Suggestions for new reading lists are welcomed!
