Hi, welcome. This story was inspired by some notes that I made when I was in 5th grade. Hope you don't hate it at the very least. If you did like it though, I'd appreciate it if you'd follow me so you can get updated on what I'm doing.

A young girl trotting about in a brand new sitting room amazed and scared of her new surroundings. She was exploring her new territory, every single crevice and corner unsafe; she will find everything this room has to offer.
The wonder in her eyes sparkle in delight as she laid her eyes on a rotary telephone. She was intrigued by this..this machine. As she was reaching for the device with her tiny arms, a woman with a sweet voice said-
"Paige sweetie, come here."
"Okay, coming"
Following where the voice had come from she entered a new room, a new turf. While entering she saw a Man and a woman that are both in their mid 30's; they're happy as ever. They looked each other in the eyes, smiling, and said
"Paige dear, we need to talk"
The man got down on his knees, him looking at the little girl's eyes, and spoke
"Guess what?"
"What?"
"You're going to have a new baby brother."
"Really?!"
"Really."
Due to the exciting news and the excruciating feeling that she forgot something, Paige didn't get a wink of sleep. She thought
'Maybe I should go exploring for the meantime'
With the hopes of seeing the one and only boogeyman, Paige heads out with her faithful sidekick, Teddy.
"I really feel like I forgot something important..."
...
'Oh right; the telephone!'
"I cant believe i forgot!" She whispered while face palming.
She tip toed her way to the machine and played with the wheel of the telephone. Writing in random numbers while covering her sleepy eyes.
"KRING—"
At that moment she grabbed the handle to stop that annoying noise. When she picked it up she heard a very tiny voice. She placed it on her ear and it spoke
"w-wèi?"
