♤Marie's POV♤I walked into the small gas station with my pistol safely tucked in my jeans with my hoodie covering it. I didn't put my hood up since I knew there was no reason to hide my face.
Everyone already knew who I was. It didn't matter anymore.
I looked at the expiration dates on the milk and saw that it was weeks past due date.
Didn't even like milk that much anyways.
I moved on and grabbed a few snacks from the shelves. I let out a sigh when I realize that there are only very few things here.
I grab a random bag of chips and walk up to the cash register.
She starts to ring up my stuff and I look at the wall of alcohol behind her.
Right when she finishes putting in all of the things I've already ordered I look back down at her. "Also, one of anything from the shelf."
She sighs and goes and gives me a random bottle. "That will be $27.36."
I look into my wallet and realize that i'm only $20 short.
I sigh and frown as I begin to reach for my pistol. Then I see her reaching for something under the desk. Well then..
I take this time to look her over as she freezes realizing she's been caught.
She had blue eyes and blonde hair that faded into a blue at the ends. Her hair was wavy and I'm taking this time now to notice the barely noticeable scars she has all over her body.
Her clothing choice was a black t-shirt with a leather jacket, black jeans and a pair of roughed up black combat boots.
Scanning over her jacket once more I could see the small but very noticeable outline of a knife in her sleeve. I smiled at the technique.
She had a relatively fair skintone that went with the outfit too. She was perfect.
I turn around and catch the eyes of someone I didn't expect too meet since I left the M.R.O.
Calista Lynch. More known as the small and frail tween I used to know. Well shit.
Right when I saw her I could instantly tell she was my old sister-like companion.
I scanned her and realized that she only had one thing and that was a pack of throwing knives hidden around her body.
I could see why as she used to never really know guns and the throwing knives are extremely popular in the business today.
My eyes widened and in an instant she had already thrown one straight at the blonde haired girl behind me.
"Jesus Christ.." I murmured when the blonde gasped in pain.
I slid behind the counter and told the blonde to duck down with me. I looked at her wound and realized that it was pretty deep and perfectly in a place in her shoulder where it wouldn't affect her too much.
