Lies Within

Realization

This chapter is the same day but late at night like 8:00pm  
So with out further ado let's get started👇

*knock**knock*

I wake up to the sound of knocking on my door,I slowly get up and walk to my door, when I open it I see my mom. what the hell!why is she here? shouldn't she be at work?. "hi mom" I say with a groggy voice, she looks at me and rubs my face and says " hi! honey were you a sleep,if you want you can go back to sleep?." I move her hands off my face and smile "no,mom its okay I'm fine,but I am kinda of hungry".

She smiles and says " well good! because I made dinner so let's go eat."I follow her downstairs to the kitchen and wonder 'Why the hell is she so happy?'.  Once we reach the bottom of the stairs i stop and look around to see Noah,and my dad sitting at the table .what the hell,is this a family meeting?. I walk to the table and sit in the  chair next to Noah and say awkwardly" hey ". My dad and Noah both respond with a nod then my dad pulls his phone out of his pocket when it begins vibrating. He then stands up and walks out of the front door leaving it cracked open. he forgot to close the door ugh.

I stand up and walk to the front door and close it because of the cold draft that is coming inside of the house. I walk back to the table and sit back down and turn toward Noah who is on his phone, and tap him and whisper "why are we all eating together?" He looks up at me and shrugs. I look around to see my dad walk in with a frown on his face and he looks at me then Noah and says" I got called back in for another shift, and I can't get out of it!". As soon as he says that my mom walks in with two plates, she stops in the door way of the kitchen and frowns then says" its okay we understand ". Even thought I know she mad,she can sure make it seem like everything's Okay.

I look at Noah who now has a frown on his face and look back at my dad and say" yeah its okay we understand right Noah? ". He looks at me and says with a smile" yeah,its alright." And with that my dad smiles " OK,I be back tomorrow afternoon", and walks upstairs.

I look at mom who is smiling at us ,and say "what?" she shrugs and walks over to us, sets one of the plates in her hands in front of me then the other one in front of Noah. After, I look at Noah who says 'thank you' to her, then I repeat the action. A soon as we thank her she walks upstairs. A few moments later I hear yelling. I sigh then I look over at Noah who is eating but stops when he hears our parents yelling at each other. He looks over to me and says" here we go again."

Soon the yelling stops and I hear footsteps coming from the stairs, I look to see my dad with his work bag and another small bag, he begins walking towards the door when my mom comes down the stairs with an angry facial expression and says " I'll be in the kitchen if you guys need me". Once she enters the kitchen my Dad looks over to us and says", goodnight " then walks out of the house, I look at the door then, at the kitchen. 

I wonder what all that was about? dramatic much?

My mom soon walks to the table with a plate, she sits down and begins eating. I sit up straight and put a piece of chicken in my mouth and chew while watching her ear and say " well ..ugh... me and Kacey aren't friends anymore", And with that the silence that was held broke with the sound of forks being set down on plates.

My mother looks up from her plate and says" oh? honey is everything all right?" I look at her with a smile and say" yeah,it was a fight and she said were not friends anymore,but ugh.. I'm Okay with it she is ugh..." I paused and looked at all their faces especially Noah's then continue " Dead to me" and with those final words my mom laughs" honey!its just a fight!, best friends don't just give up on each other!." Did she just say that,of course they do! well... in my situation it did. Kacey wants to be friends with that plastic barbie bitch then she can! I will never talk to her again.

I look at my mom and tilt my head and say" well, mom they do,she want's  it to be this way!". I practicality yell, my moms smile fades " oh,well she is missing out on a wonderful friend then." I frown and say"I guess ", I look around to see Noah eating not even caring about the situation but who cares?,...
Clearly not Noah.

I look back at my mom and notice she is  scrolling on her phone while picking at her food. I look at her and say" so?", Both Noah and our mother look up at me and say "what?",I look at them and say " you forgot to tell us, what you wanted to tell us!." She opened her mouth and says " oh yeah,about that". She put her phone down and continues " remember that poor girl that was bullied by Kacey? well  her and her parents wanted  to have lunch with us tomorrow. " She looks at both me and Noah and smiles, seriously what does she want ?was Kacey right?what if she tells my mom and dad?.

I look down at my hands that made their way to my lap, I look back up, smile and say happily "really wow,why?" I say so smooth that my mom doesn't even question it,she stood up and grabbed her empty plate and says " I don't know they said they want to tell us in person!". After she says that she grabs our plates and walks into the kitchen.
