Thank you for the requestshortskirt! It means ever so much! Anyway, it's gonna be split into two parts because I broke my arm and I can only write in increments. Hope you enjoy!

When you had first met, Yoon had been terrified of you. With your blunt attitude and your unwavering sense of intimidation, who could blame him? You were the epitome of bad ass. Your fighting style was flawless, your posture was confident and you glared at everyone who seemed the slightest bit suspicious. Even though Yoon had been scared, you had both softened up to one another and, eventually, started to date.

That was years ago. You and Yoon had agreed that marriage and kids would only be an option once you were both at least 20 and the Kouka Kingdom was safely under Yona's or another trustworthy monarch's rule. Now that this dream had come to pass, you were waiting. You knew that this was something Yoon desperately wanted to take charge in as you commandeered everything else in your relationship. Secretly, you wanted him to do so too because it had been your dream as a young girl to be proposed to romantically and, although Yoon had no clue how dating or relationships worked, those romance novels he had started reading must have given him some inspiration for a grand gesture of love.

When the day came, you had nearly given up hope that he would ask anytime soon. Yona was holding a ball near the palace for the entire kingdom to celebrate the dragons' rise back to power after centuries after their disappearance from the public eye. Nobles and poor folk alike gathered and were given free refreshments. You were wearing a dress, despite arguments against it on your end. As a compromise, you were also wearing a few pieces of armour. When you got to the ballroom, you glanced around for your boyfriend but could not find him anywhere. Suddenly, your hand was grabbed by who you could only assume was Shin-ah - he could be the only one who would wear a mask to a ball like this. You were lead to the middle of the ballroom and there, standing in all of his gorgeous glory, was the love of your life.

The romantic side of you wanted to squeal. It was obvious what this was by the fact that, as soon as you reached Yoon, the entire room went quiet as the music stopped and he knelt down on one knee. Out of his pocket came a black velvet box and when he opened it, the first thing you saw was the (your birthstone). He looked up at you expectantly as Jae-ha emerged from the crowd, playing his erhu softly and Zeno ran around in his tux (which you had literally wrestled him into, playfully of course) splaying pink rose petals all around you. You were on cloud nine when he took your hand in his.

"I'm just going to be straightforward (as I imagine Yoon would be in this situation...). Will you marry me?" He said in his newfound, slightly manly voice, making you want to giggle.

"Well, took ya long enough to ask. I might just wait an eternity to answer you!" You chuckled and everyone in the room laughed heartily. Yoon turned slightly red.

"Just answer the question..." He mumbled, puffing out his cheeks whilst blushing in embarrassment.

"Yes, I will marry you."

He sighed in relief and slid the ring on your finger (still pouting), then standing to give you a kiss. Being you, you decided to tease him by dipping him in your arms. Despite his crimson cheeks, he grinned at you as you pulled him up. You pecked his cheek and the crowd cheered. The festivities continued and the newly engaged couple danced the night away.

***A few months later***

You struggled to breathe as the sash around your torso was pulled. Your kimono was a pure shade of white with (F/C) leaf accents.

"Jesus, woman!" you screeched at Yona, the other bride of today. It was to be a double wedding, a new concept in the kingdom. Of course, the Queen was marrying Hak, whom everyone had rooted for in the battle for her love anyway.

"Sorry! I've never really done this! Can you tighten mine now?" the redhead asked after tying a rather neat bow.

"I make no promises that I'll be gentle."

She shrieked a little as the sash was violently tugged around her waist. You were grinning suspiciously whilst pulling at the ribbon, happy to have repaid the pain she had just put you through.

"OUCH! What was that for?"

"Whatever are you talking about, Your Majesty?" you snickered.

"Ugghhhhh, anyway, Kija and Jae-ha are waiting to walk us down the aisle. And our groom won't want to be kept waiting!" Yona excitedly exclaimed, grabbing your hand and running down the halls of the palace before coming face to face with the Rokuyuu and the Hakuyuu. Kija grabbed your arm with a massive smile plastered across his adorable face and like it with his. Jae-ha did the same with Her Highness and you all set off to the ceremony room. When you entered, the crowd of wedding-goers silenced and Moonlight Sonnet began to play but all you could see was your little ray of sunshine, your light in the dark - Yoon. He was standing next to Hak, practically glowing with affection, tears in the corner of his crystal eyes. The sight made you want to cry your heart out and leap into his arms but you just about calmed yourself from doing so. You made your way down the aisle collectedly, acting poised as if it wasn't your moment of weakness. Kija passed you over to the love of your life and all you could do was beam at him radiantly, and anticipating what was to come.
