*Liam's POV*

She tried to escape. Again.

Every time she ran it hurt me. I tried to take care of her, and give her what she wanted. As soon as she could come around and see I'm all she'd ever want and need, I could live a happy life with her. She just has to see that.

This isn't the first time I've done something like this. Ie done this once before. The girl's name was Rosalie. She had maple eyes and dark curly hair that just passed her shoulders. I thought I loved her too. Then she killed herself. When she was in the kitchen one day she stabbed herself over and over and over in many different places. I knew I didn't actually love her because I got over her so quickly. Reine is different though.

I drag her limp body down the stairs, and place her on a mattress instead of tying her hands behind her keeping we upright. I covered her up with a soft, fuzzy blanket.

I watched her sleep for a while before going and laying down next to her. She looked so peaceful. Oh, if Zayn and Louis could see this beauty! They would agree with me that she's absolutely amazing.

They each have their own girl. They eventually gave into Zayn and Louis, so Reine will too... Right?

I get up and leave Reine to sleep. Harry was coming over soon. I needed to clean up the kitchen. I made a mess from slapping her around when she tried to escape.

Harry was a good guy. That's exactly why he couldn't find out about Reine. He would think I was doing something bad, and take her away from me. I would die. I can't live without her.

She's so breathtaking. Her dirty blonde hair reaches just past her shoulders. Her eyes are strange. They are full of warmth, but have an odd icy glare to them. They change color a lot too. Sometimes, they are a dull aqua color, and sometimes they are a deep emerald green. They remind me of Harry's eyes. Unforgettable. Her body is amazing. She has a slight hourglass form, and she is squishy. I love her curves.

I work in the kitchen, picking up broken glass and flipping the table right-side-up. No evidence of Reine getting slapped around. I get everything cleaned up and move on to the den. My flat is quite nice. It's great being on the bottom floor because you get a basement. The living room looks fine and I move on to the bathroom. I clean up the random little things on the floor. I go downstairs and check on Reine. She is still out cold. I lock the door so she can't come out while Harry is here.

I trudge upstairs once I hear a knock on the door. I opened the door to find a very tired looking Harry. He held an eight pack of beer in one hand and two bottles of cheap vodka in the other.

"Hello, mate," he said, his British accent very apparent.

"Hey,"

"I had a rough day, so I thought we could just hangout and drink. I don't want to go out to some bar or party tonight."

"Yeah. Me too."

I let him into my flat and closed the door behind him. He walked into the kitchen and set down all the alcohol he brought with him. He turned to me and asked, "What's up in your world?"

"Nothing really. I finally unpacked from our little trip and cleaned the flat up a little bit. Earlier today, I was in the store, and this bloke comes up to me and tries to get me to fight him over some stupid thing. I can't even remember what it was."

"Stupid people. Was he drunk?"

"Seemed that way. His eyes were bloodshot. His breath reeked of alcohol, and his words were slurred."

"Mm" he hummed. He took a red solo cup from the cabinet and filled it halfway with the vodka. I followed his actions doing the same. He and I downed the entire cup quickly. I loved the burning sensation of it as it trickled down my throat. I already felt a slight buzz in the back of my head.

"Hey, you never gave me a full tour of your flat like you did Lou and Zayn. Care to do so now? I'm just super bored."

"Sure."

"This is the kitchen," I said opening my arms to show the room off. I walked to the den. "This is the living room or den or whatever."

"Very homey." He added.

"Mm." I hummed. I walked down the hallway and pointed at the closed doors. "Bathroom, my room, guest room."

"Well. You have yourself a nice little place. What's behind here?" He said opening the basement door.

"Oh! Nothing!" I panicked. He couldn't see I had Reine. "Just the creepy basement. Ha ha." I faked my laugh along with a smile.

"Let's check it out... Unless you're too scared..."

I panicked. I didn't want him to think I was scared of my own basement. I was screwed. He was going to find out one way or another.

"Whatever." I said trudging behind him. Reine was behind a closed and locked door so maybe I would get lucky. Maybe he wouldn't find out.

*Reine's POV*

I woke up with a pounding in my head. All my muscles were sore.

I woke up on a cold mattress. Something new I guess. I'm glad he didn't tie me up again.

"Liam..." My voice croaked. "Liam!!" I shouted again hoping he would hear me.

I heard a bunch of noises from outside the door. "Liam!!!" I shouted with all I had. I heard Liam's voice and one other. It was familiar though, I didn't know who it belonged to. Zayn? Louis? Harry? Niall? I don't know. I got up and tried to open the door. Locked.

"Liam! Let me out! I'll be good, I promise!" I shouted through the thick wood of the door.

I heard the door unlock and then I saw it open. I stood there, met by curious green eyes. They filled me with warmth and an emotion I was unfamiliar with.

The handsome lad immediately turned and punched whoever was behind him. Liam. I heard his body hit the ground. I think this guy knew exactly what was going on. I don't think this is the first time Liam has trapped a girl before.

The gorgeous lad with green eyes and chocolate curls returned and grabbed my arms and pulled me up the stairs and out the door.

The cool air rushed against my skin as Green Eyes pulled me toward his motorcycle. He hopped on and commanded that I get on.

His voice was deep and comforting. I did as I was told and found his waist. I held on tightly as he sped off away from Liam's unconscious body lay on the floor with the front door wide open.

The wind blew through my hair. I was cold, but oddly warm at this stranger's touch. I breathed in the smell of his cologne as we flew down the quiet streets.

So I know this went by kinda fast, but you'll see why in the next few chapters. I won't spoil! 😂
