Nick wake up someone said while hitting my chest.
"Kimberley?" I managed to cough up. "What are you doing here, you should be at school".
"It's summer silly" she said wiping her tears while managing a smile.
"What happened to Jake?" I asked cautiously while I scanned my area.
"He's dead" she said sadly "He was involved in a drive by. And he was shot (75) seventy five times. I almost feel sorry for him.
" Don't" I said "He's evil". I I felt a slight pain when I said it.
"Hey Andre" I called as he walked in the room. What you been up to since I was shot?"
" The usual, dancing and so on "he answered.
A doctor walked into the room and said it will take a while for me to get back on my own feet so until then I will need to use crutches.
" Thanks "I said while trying to get up.
