Chapter 7:The Basement...
Little Sephrina is in the kitchen,using her wand to clean and wash the room.
Today,she actually wants to do chores,instead of listening to her parents babble about how "poor of a job" she is doing so. Her chores are simple...she has to clean up her room,help clean the kitchen,and if she's still "energized" she can help clean the rest of the house.
Except for the basement...that is.
The basement is always mysterious and is always a surprise to people who even enter it. This time...it's like the Chamber of Secrets. No one really knows what lurks down there in the shadows. Not until today...
As shes cleaning up her room,she sees Riddle go past her door and down the steps. He goes towards the end of the living room and into a large corridor to where it leads to a mysterious door that's on the floor. Riddle goes down the door and climbs down a ladder,to where it stops about 6 or 8 feet from the surface of the house.
He opens a new door by speaking parseltongue and he walks in. The room is full of designs of different types of snakes and full of dark colors like black,and dark green with a hint of silver. The room is dark,always dark because he doesn't want anyone to see it...not even his own goddaughter.
"Lumos Maxima." His wand lights up and he looks at the monster standing up at him. He speaks in parseltongue,"Kill...kill for your master..." Then,the monster goes up the hole and he hears screams from Sephrina.
Sephrina was cleaning the living room when the monster came up. She screamed at the top of her lungs and said in parseltongue,"What the hell?!" The monster looked at her confused and roared at her making her say,"Now...it's my turn. Avada Kadavra!" She uses a wand that she found on the floor and he died,disappearing from her eyes.
Riddle comes up and says,"Hey! That was my experiment!! You weren't suppose to destroy it!" She puts her arms to the side and looks up at him and says,"Sorry,godfather. I was so scared that I had to defend myself..." "Now,I have to get a new one!! Geez!" He goes back down and shuts the door,trying to conjure up a new monster to stay underneath the house.
The monster he picks is a large snake that's longer and bigger than he is. He smiles and says in parseltongue,"Stay." The creature does as asked and Riddle goes back up,seeing Draco fight over his wand.
"GET OFF OF ME!!" She says,as he grabs the wand from her. "Not yours!! When have you said anything to-" "You told me I could use it!" "When?" "When I helped you clean up your room in the house!" "Oh...right. Well,that's just makes it more interesting for me." He picks her up and she yells at the top of her lungs saying,"GET OFF!! LET ME GO!!" "Never." He says,running away with her.
"Draco!" Tom says,making him turn around and say,"I'm punishing her...stay away,Tom." Riddle gets angry at this that he says,"CRUCIO!" Draco falls down and looks up at Riddle,making Riddle point his wand at him. "Kill me then. Kill me for your own good." "Avada Kadavra!" He points the wand at him and Draco dies,laying on the floor with Sephrina out of his arms.
Riddle picks her up and says,"Sorry about that. He should know better than take away my goddaughter." She puts her arms around his neck and hugs him,putting her head on his chest. He hugs her too and kisses the top of her head. "So...I should say this...so you want to go down to the basement with me?" "Sure."
He carries her down the stairs and says,"Lumos." His wand lights up and he puts her down to the floor. Her eyes look all over the place,and she smiles...evilly.
She jumps up and grabs the wand running away from him,leaving him in the dark. "Sephrina!" He runs towards her as she says,"Ascendio." She flies up in the air and he's left in the dark,with the door closed. "Sephrina Spade!! Bring the wand back here!!" "Never!" Her eyes turn demonic and she runs away breaking everything in its path. "Now,I'm going to get my parents." "No,Sephrina!" He yells out,hoping that she could hear him but she doesn't and appareates to her house where she breaks everything in there,leaving her brothers and sister alone.
"Sephrina...please..." Riddle said as she pointed the wand at him. "I couldn't find my parents...where are they?"
"Right here." Brad says,coming out of the shadows. Riddle grabs the wand from her and says,"I thought we killed you..." "Her blood...makes us infinity." Riddle points the wand at them and makes them disappear and Sephrina rushes towards him,hugging him.
"Riddle..." "Next time...you should have stayed." "Right...right." "Good."
