*Melanies POV*
*next morning*
I wake up to the sound to snoring. "Cameron wake up" I say nudging his shoulder. "cant we sleep all day?" he ask rolling over. "OUCH!" he yells shooting up. "what's wrong?" I say standing up "oh nothing just my side." he says looking down at it. "let me see it again" I say walking up and removing the goz. "oh my God Cameron. what exactly did he do to you?" I say looking up at him. "um- erm. I cant tell you" he says putting his shirt down. 'Cameron tell me now" I say sternly.
"its nothing. hes in jail now" he whispers. "JAIL?" I yell stepping closer. "okay okay iwaswalkingandhecameupbehinemeandshotme" I say fast. "HE SHOT YOU?" I yell grabbing my purse and keys. "where are you going?" he asks. "WE are going to the hospital whether you like it or not" I say dragging him out the door.
*****1 hour later****
we walk in and Cameron immediately falls to the floor. "CAMERON?!" I scream. "HELP!" I yell and multiple nurses run up and put him on a gurney. "will he be okay?" I ask as they shut the door not answering my question.
I wait in the hospital room waiting for some news. I deiced to text all the boys in a group convo.
to: Jack, Jack, Aaron, Nash, Hayes, Shawn, Taylor, carter, Matt:
Come to hospital now. Cameron's been shot.
after about 5 minute's Nash runs in. "WHERE IS HE? IS HE OKAY?" he asks franticly. "I don't know they wont tell me" I say keeping my head in my hands. then all the other boys run in. "HOW IS HE? "IS HE OKAY?" HOW BAD WAS IT?" they all ask. "she doesn't know they wont tell her" Nash says sitting next to me.
I start to cry. knowing that I didn't know about this makes me feel terrible. "its all my fault" I say crying into Nash's shoulder. Carter come up and kneels in front of me holding my hands."hes going to be alright. hes Cameron." he says smiling. I smile and he kisses my forehead. damn hes being really friendly.
******
"Melanie?" a lady says coming out of Cameron's room. "yes? is he okay?" I ask "he is fine. but we did have to stich him up and he has a concussion from falling" she says. "c-can I see him?' I ask letting out a deep breath. "yes you all can but one at a time" she says squeezing my hand and walking away.
I slowly step in seeing him with a bandage over his head and one on his side. "babe?" I ask sitting down and grabbing his hand. "Mel?" he says looking up at me. "no its Nash" I say sarcastically making him giggle.
"how are you??" I ask. "im actually doing good" he smiles. "why did you faint in the lobby?" I ask. "I told you. I hate the doctors." he says laughing. "well the doctor said you could leave in a little so ill let the boys say hi" I say kissing him and walking out.
*Cameron's POV*
alright man well hope you get better! ill send Carter in now" Taylor says walking out.
"hey bro!" I say as Carter walks in. (A/N okay so im going to make carter a total ass. which he is not! he is a sweet loving and caring guy. remember this is a fan fiction :) )
"okay lets get one thing straight" he says shutting the door and locking it. "you know how I feel about Melanie. so if I were you I would back off" he says sternly. "dude. she's mine already. I asked her out last night and she said yes" I say sitting up. "well im not going to stop fighting for her. and there is nothing you can do about it." he says walking out.
what the hell?
"okay babe! we can go now all of us are going to the movies!" Melanie says walking in. "okay I will meet you guys there I have to go see someone" I say standing up. 'you cant drive?" she says. "im walking" I say walking out of the room. im not going to go see anyone. I just need to clear my head.
*Carters POV*
"okay because we only have two cars and mine can only fit like two me and Melanie will ride together and the rest go in Taylors. okay? okay." I say grabbing Melanie's hand and leading her to the car.

"how long of a drive until we get there?" she ask looking out the window. "about half an hour" I say grabbing her hand. "Carter what are you doing?' she ask pulling away. I stop the car and look at her. "listen Mel. ive liked you as long as Cameron has. I cant get you off of my mind." I say looking into her eyes. "Carter. im with Cam and I love him" she says looking away. "im not going to stop fighting for you. but I will let you chose." I say. "Carter I already chose Cam" she says looking back at me. 'then at least let me do this" I say leaning in and kissing her hard on the lips. she instantly pulls away and slaps me.
"CARTER!' she yells she then gets out of the car and walks over to Taylors. I didn't realize they ere stopped behind us.
