That Girl

Chapter 1

     Xavier went to his best friends house David. They would play games, walk the roads and at night sneak out to see their girlfriends. One night Xavier snuck out while David was sleeping to see his girlfriend Britney, she was 5'4 with long brown hair and always wore leggings. They walked a little bit and would talk but Xavier noticed something a little different and how she was acting but he didn't say anything. The next day he went to school, he did his work, texted his girlfriend because they went to different schools.       David had been texting Xavier saying that she's been hanging out with some dude kinda flirting with each other. Xavier said he would ask her after school and he had to go to the next hour, he put his phone up, put up his books then carried his bag out of third hour and started walking to his World Geography class. There was a note on the door and it said "go to the gym i'm not here today". Xavier just shrugged his shoulders and went to the gym. He saw his friend Dalton sitting with this beautiful girl with brown hair, wore glasses and a beanie some days, she is 5'2, and has beautiful blue eyes. Her name is Heather and she is a major book worm and sometimes a major nerd. Xavier's heart started to race and he was starstruck, he stood for a second then made himself move.
     He went and sat in front of them. "Hey Dalton, hey Heather" he said in a deep kinda shaky voice. "Hey Xavier" Heather said in a high voice, 'her voice is so nice to hear' Xavier thought to himself. This was the first time they have ever talked, usually they just walked in the hall passing by each other just waving. "Hey dude look" Dalton said as he showed Xavier a deck of cards and said to pick one. He grabbed one and it was the King of Spades, he put it in the deck and shuffled it 2 times, Dalton showed the top card and it wasn't the right one, he put it face down then snapped his fingers then showed it again then it was the King of Spades. "I saw how you did the whole thing you know i can do these too" Xavier said smiling and laughing.
Heather laughed and said "i can see everything y'all are doing it's so easy". "Wanna bet?" Xavier said pulling out a deck, he did a bunch of tricks and Heather had seen everything he was doing and could tell how he was doing the tricks. Xavier held up a card saying "is this your card?" It was the seven of hears. Heather laughed and said "no" she took a card from the top of the deck then stuck it to her forehead then said with a beautiful smile "guess the card".  
Xavier just thought to himself 'she is so cute', he laughed then thought to himself again then said "it's the seven of hearts" Heather said "no that's the card in your hand" she said confused. "No it's the seven of hearts" Xavier laughed then smiled big and slowly peeled the card off of her head to show her that it was indeed the seven of hearts. Heather stared at him in awe and didn't know how to react. He sat next to her then they talked for the rest of the hour.
      He got her snapchat then she had left to go to RTI. After school him and her talked on snapchat for a little bit then Xavier went to bed thinking to himself wondering why he's feeling different.
    He went to school with his coffee and was listening to some Asking Alexandria like always. He saw Heather there really early so he walked and sat by her. "Hey you wanna listen?" He asked offering his other headphone, she said yeah and they both started to listen then she took it out after a minute. "That music is so scary" she said laughing, "no it's not oh my god" Xavier was laughing too. It was like they knew each other but they've only been friends for a day. "I like pop music" Heather said, "well i kinda guessed that" Xavier said laughing. Heather said confused "what does that mean?". He looked at her then said smiling big "well you're like a girly girl" he started to laugh.
      The bell rang and they walked to class standing right next to each other. He went to his class and she went to hers, as usual he texted his girlfriend but some days she wouldn't text back. He sat in his class doing some work and listening to music and checking the time every five minutes. Before the bell rang he packed his bag then got up and there was always only three people in his first hour class counting him.
       The bell rang then he went to his second hour and he sat on the far left side of the class like usual and Heather sat on the far right of class. The room wasn't that big so they were like 4 desks away from each other and Xavier sat with his friends. His friend Carrington, Arabella, Gavin and Jayden. They had finished their work and Xavier and his friends were talking and he would look over at Heather and she would look at him and smile.
       She went and sat by Xavier right next to him and was talking to him. He could tell she liked him but didn't know for sure he liked her too but didn't want to make it obvious and he never did. They left for third hour and Xavier was talking to his friend Carrington, Heather whispered his name and so he went over to him and asked what she wanted. She said "you know there's a talent show going on you should really join" She begged him repeatedly then he finally agreed to it smiling but annoyed a little.
    They went to fourth hour together talking in the hall, in the middle of fourth hour they were talking and she asked for Xavier's hand, "what?" He asked confused. "I can read hand" Heather said. He gave her his hand and she had read it for him, he was weirded out but he liked her touching his hand. The bell rang and he went to lunch, the rest of the day was boring for him because he wanted to hang out with her. After school he talked to her on snapchat. He talked to his girlfriend asking if she was cheating on him and she got really defensive saying "no you're the only one for me". He apologized and was just wondering because of what David was saying. He went to bed kind of worried and thinking about Heather that night.
