When Xavier woke up the first thing he did was text Britney good morning, but there had been no response back right away like usual. He messaged Heather and weirdly she said good morning back a minute later. He took his phone into the bathroom then locked the door, he grabbed a towel then turned on the shower. He blared some metal music to wake up and sat under the hot water. He got out ten minutes later then got dressed for school. Xavier brought his bag to the living room dropped it then made himself some coffee. "Hey we're about to leave" his mom said as Xavier put in his headphones then grabbed his bag as he had a thermos full of fresh coffee.
When he got to school Heather was already there so he went and sat next to her "so you ready for the talent show Friday?" He said jokingly cause he knew she was nervous. "Yeah a little bit, I just hope there's not a lot of people" she looked down at her book as Xavier took off his bag then took a couple sips of coffee. "You want some?" He offered Heather some coffee, "no i hate it, i like tea more" she smiled at him then looked at her book as more people came into the school courtyard.
During second hour Xavier was messing with his rubiks cube and solving it over and over. He would also take out a pack of cards and slowly practice. Heather watched as Xavier practiced his cards slowly seeing how he would do his tricks. Tristen was sitting next to Heather one of her friends. She was obnoxious, had short brown hair, she was 5'3, and always wore a grey hoodie. She whispered to Heather "he's soooo cuuuute" while she slowly turned red, "hey he's mine" Heather said whispering back. Tristen got up and went to sit in front of Xavier cause Bella wasn't at school that day. "Show me a trick" she said as she sat straight up looking at Xavier. "Well um okay" he said kinda laughing and weirded out, he showed her an easy one that he always did. Heather watched from her desk, she opened up a book and started to read as Tristen gazed at Xavier googily eyed at him. 'I can just smell the hormones coming off of her' Heather thought to herself.
After class Heather was the first one out because she didn't want to speak to Tristen. Xavier watched kind of worried but his phone had buzzed. He read a text from his girlfriend saying "ugh i hate second hour". He put his phone away and started walking by himself focusing on getting to third hour. He went to his seat in third hour and saw Heather was the first one there already in her chair. The bell rang and Xavier was in his spot, when he looked over he saw Heather reading her book. 'Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets' Xavier thought to himself. He pulled out one of his new puzzles he got and would mess it up then solve it. He would do it over and over to see how fast he could solve it. Everyone would watch in awe because no one knew how to do it. Xavier then grabbed a pack of cards and made one fly out of the pack and that had caught everyone's attention. He took out the cards then did some simple tricks as Heather watched him. She had never seen anyone do those tricks and couldn't get over his smile when he would shock someone. 'He's so perfect' She thought to herself.
They went to fourth hour and Heather had sat in her normal spot but Xavier sat next to her today, Heathers head was hurting so she had laid her head down, Xavier was talking to Dalton about card tricks and stuff, "what are you gonna do for the talent show?" Dalton asked wondering. "Ahh i got a couple things but i've been practicing this big trick, i just can't believe it's only a couple days away already" Xavier said scared and shaking a little. They talked the rest of the hour since they finished their work. "Hey Heather wake up" Xavier shook her a little, Heather sat up "hey sleepy head it's time for lunch" Xavier smiled and her and Heather smiled back. "You know I don't think you're supposed to be flirting if you have a girlfriend" Dalton said aggravated a little since he's liked Heather for months. "...girlfriend?..." Heather said softly to herself, "yeah i have a girlfriend" Xavier said back to Heather. She got up and rushed out of the class to lunch, Xavier packed his things in his bag but noticed a book on the ground, he picked it up then looked around on it noticing it wasn't a school book. He opened it and saw it was Heathers book 'it looks like a diary', he started walking to lunch carrying her black and pink book. Something was telling Xavier to look through it but he knew better not to, the book was blank and pink with a pink drawn on feather on it. He saw Heather sitting next to Tristen outside, he walked outside and made his way to Heather. "He-" before he could finish his word Tristen jumped up and started yelling at him saying to leave her alone and not to speak to her again. "She dropped something in fourth hour i was returning it" he said back raising up the book, "here your dropped it when you ran out" he dropped the book on Heathers back then walked off kinda mad. "My bad..." Tristen said aloud noticing how big of a scene she made. Xavier went to the bathroom then say in there till the bell rang. The day went on kind of grey because it was boring, Xavier listened to music texted his girlfriend and David and finished all of his work. When she got home he practiced more and picked out his outfit for the Talent Show Friday. After practicing he played video games till night time and shortly after getting off he texted Heather saying goodnight. She didn't respond and Xavier felt sad, his girlfriend told him goodnight and he told her goodnight back. He laid in bed worried that night because he didn't want Heather mad at him. He slowly fell asleep listening to some metal and after a minute he finally fell asleep.
