Journal Entry three: 7/2/2017

So tonight down at the park the towns people are shooting fireworks where the fair is. Fire works are amazing to see up close with certain camera angles. I know lately my writings have been more expressive with photos rather then actual writing, but can you blame me. I'm a photographer that's what we do. We express the story and the feelings threw photos...

* as i was writing in my journal a young gal sat down next to me *

Jayden: What ya writing 'bout?

Kane: Uh...um...

Jayden: Sorry if i scared ya I'm Jayden, but please call me Jay for short.

* She reached out her hand for me to shake so I did softly and kindly *

Kane: I'm Kane...writing...uh yeah, I keep up with my daily life through writing and photography. Yeah, I know its probably kind of gay of a guy to writing in a "diary" but it helps ya know.

Jay: Totes dude I feel ya. I do the same thing.

Kane: Wait, you like writing and photography too?

Jay: Well duh! Who wouldn't! It's a great way of expressing your feelings.

* I listened in amazement of how open minded she seemed to be *

Jay: One time when I was in elementary school when I turned eight my father bought me a Polaroid for my birthday. I know, I know your probably thinking a camera for a eight year old. Well, it wasn't just a hobby for me its..

Kane: ...a passion?

* She smiled and sighed as if she was relieved of finding someone that understood her story *

Jay: ... yeah...

* We sat there for a moment of silence as the towns people were shooting fireworks over head *

Kane: So hey, do you like maybe want to go...

* I was cut off by her *

Jay: Well, I best be going now. I have to baby sit my brothers for my mom tonight.

Kane: ... uh yeah yeah.. OK... may I walk you home then?

* She smiled *

Jay: Sure tomboy!

* She grabbed my hand dragging me along behind her towards her house *
