[Told from Kookie's POV]

The biggest lie your parents ever tell you is this:
You're too old for your stuffed animals.

Don't tell me that you've never heard that. You're a liar. There's always one thing from your childhood that you cannot give up. For me, it's my stuffed animal.

When I was eight years old, Yoongi hyung and I went shopping for my birthday. He said I could have anything that I wished. So, I got this little cat stuffed animal. Gosh, Yoongi hyung is so kind. He spent nearly two months' savings from working underground just to give me a birthday present and make me happy. Of course, I didn't find out until years later.

Now, I'm legally an adult. I still carry it around; wherever I go, it comes with me. Yoongi and I are roommates in our apartment now, actually, and he always says it's cute but that I shouldn't take it into public. That obviously didn't stop me from bringing it everywhere, though.

"Jungkook-ah," Yoongi called, snapping me out of my thoughts while I had been playing with my stuffie. I stood up from the couch and sheepishly crept  into the studio.

"Yes, hyung?" I questioned and rubbed my tired eyes with my free hand since my beloved stuffed animal occupied the other.

"Listen to this for me. Tell me what you think." He let the recording play, and at the end I couldn't hold back a squeal. I was jumping and clutching my stuffed animal to my chest.

"It's so amazing! How do you create such amazing songs?"

"Can you not take that thing in here? I can't take you seriously at all," he chuckled quietly and shook his head, eyeing my stuffed animal.

"No, I can't. You're just jealous of it because he gets all of my attention all the time." I playfully stuck my tongue out and left the studio with a huff. I went to the kitchen then and decided to make myself some ramen. I got everything that I needed, then changed my mind and decided to make it for both Suga hyung and myself. Sharing is caring, right?

It felt like forever. Finally, I dumped the ramen into two bowls as equally as I could manage, grabbed two pairs of chopsticks, and then placed a few green onions on top. I carefully balanced the bowls well enough to take my stuffed animal with me as I went back into the studio.

"Ah, so you really were cooking. I thought I smelled something nice." Yoongi thanked me and tried to eat his meal but focus on his music at the same time.

"Hyung~" I whined with half of a mouthful of the ramen, "eat with me, you're always working and we never enjoy a meal together."

"Agh, Jungkookie, do not bother me."

"I wouldn't have to bother you if you ate with me, hyung," I complained.

"Fine." Yoongi spun around in his chair and placed his bowl into his lap as he met my gaze. He seemed slightly displeased, but he was going to have to deal with it. I made him a meal, so why couldn't he just eat it with me? He's always sooo busy anyways, and he definitely deserves a break.

"Hyung, what are you naming the son-"
"Jungkook, please get that hideous thing out of my sight," Yoongi said, staring at my stuffed cat as noodles slipped from between his chopsticks. His tone was teasing and playful, but he looked horrified and slightly disgusted also. I gave him a pout and shuffled the cat behind me shyly.

"Be nice to it, Suga hyung. You're the one who gifted it to me, after all!" I placed more noodles into my mouth, enjoying my food.

"Agh, if I had known that you'd enjoy it that much I would have left the store as soon as you laid eyes on it."

"Hyung!!"

"Okay. Okay, I'll take that back," he continued to eat from his bowl and for a little bit there was silence. Until I leaned back and knocked the stuffie off of the table. Yoongi laughed and jabbed a chopstick in its direction.

"Your best friend just got rejected," he teased, unable to hold back a quiet laugh. I didn't really mind. I just picked it up and enjoyed Yoongi's gummy smile. How cute, don't you agree?
