Im just sitting in my room when my 14 year old sister bailee comes in and says, " daddy called for a family meeting" "Ok. Im on my way" i answer. Dad rarely ever calls a family meeting. I wonder whats going on.

"Bailee, go get ur sister for a family meeting." "Ok daddy!!" Bailee says while running up the stairs. A few minutes later, britaney and bailee come down and sit at the table. "Ok. So you two are probably wondering why i called a family meeting. Well, my boss called me up to his office, and gave me a promotion!!! We are moving to california." "Wait wait wait, we're moving to california??" Britaney asked. She looked confused.

Britaneys POV

"Wait wait wait, we're moving to california??" I was so confused right now. We cant move all of a sudden. We lived in the small town of lake havasu city, AZ. One of the hottest cities in arizona. There wernt a lot of people here, but this was my home, we cant leave all of a sudden. I dont want to move somewhere i dont know. I want to stay with my friends and family. I ran off to my room and landed on my bed. I texted Brian, my 13 year old brother.

B= ask dad when we are leaving

b= ok. Hold on

b= he said we are moving next weekend.

B= WHAT!?!? Thats barely any time to say goodbye!!!

b= he said we could have friends spend the weekend over this weekend.

B= ok. Imma text maddy and macy and brooklynn.
