I sighed, shutting my locker and walking away from the laughter. I kept my eyes to the floor, watching my feet asi walked. Left. Right. Left. Right. The large double-glass doors opened with ease, revealing the swarming crowd of highschool students and large parking lot. I sighed, looking back at my feet and slipping my headphones over my head. When I looked up once more the school was far behind me. Where am I? I couldnt have walked that far... I turned my head back around to see a man standing on the street corner, hat and up-turned collar of his coat hiding his face.
A paper blew in the wide from his extended hand. I stepped further and grabbed it from him, turning to face his only to see his shadow. I raised an eyebrow, backing away and looking down at the paper. a flier of some sort?

My eyes widend slightly, reading the names of all the different actors to this circus. I rolled my eyes, having heard about freakshows before. Just fake people who had plastic surgery to become abnormal. I walked op the stairs to my bedroom, the door shutting silently not to wake my sleeping mother. I laid on my bed, the ice cold sheets calming my heated skin. Thank god today was the last day of school. I couldn't bear another day of that hell. I mumble through my sleepless breath. I glanced at the flier once more, the paper lifeless yet full of longing for me to go. I raised an eyebrow at the newly added name to the bottem of the paper. Was that name there before?
I dropped the paper in fear, the ink appearing as if someone was just then writing it down. I didnt bother looking at the result of the jumbled letters. I covered my face, turned out the ligth, and tried forgeting this event with sleep. Magic isnt real. Magic isnt real... Magic isnt real.... maybe it could be...
