The Life of the Zodiacs

Backstory part. 1

For the past week, Capricorn alone went through files and inspections on everyone career. Of course, Virgo chose to be a famous governmental scientist and a few other - Leo and Cancer - were also a bit over the edge, but she revised them and tried to fit them a career they could agree and live on.

She also hadn't slept in over nine days, almost spilling ink over her papers twice and dozing off for a small nap for the fifth time now. She was having a rough time. Sagittarius came in her office often to see either a napping Capricorn or a I - shall - do - all - the - work - in - the - world Capricorn. By the end of the week, the jobs and Signs were listed together and Capricorn could finally have a well deserved rest in her new bed.

The bedroom was simple. A bed with purple sheets and two gray pillows in the left side of the room, a nightstand with a book on top of it, a chair and a desk made of wood and a wardrobe. Good enough for a beauty sleep and... other business... if you know what I mean. Of course, celestial beings like herself were seen as being above such carnal desires, but they are not. Look at Zeus for example, a bad example but still one. Many "Gods'', or so called, were as sinful and lustful as humans, some were not, of course, but never were this a problem between their society like humans, who believe in order and laws should be postponed to love and sex.

Many of  called humans idiots or stupid or ignorant bubbling bafoons with no sense of humility and honor to others diferencial gender, race and/or color. You can give that to Aphrodite. Some humans learned how to make peace  with themselves and others, to know before judge and even to learn to listen. Some are known, some are forgotten, many exist outside history and could be a next door neighbor you meet, the mailman, the lady behind the balcony, or even a parent. All though all humans exist to create their own meaning, most are limited by ,what they call, religions.

To Capricorn, religions was always an interesting and curious case, but then again, so was mathematics and many agree those two do not combine. Many of their society saw religious people as ''fools for believing in a ghost'' or ''worshipers of wrong beings'', but she always saw them as humans with a need to believe in something they don't see, not generally bad but not good either. Just neutral. Many, or almost all for that matter, humans believe that others of their species should be cataloged, between bad and good, English and Portuguese, Muslin and Christian, etc. As in view of recent events, almost all believe that all Muslin are ''terrorists'' of sorts. True, some were, but a very little percentage for that matter, most were just... there, minding their own business and following what they believe.

Again, humans are weird. Laws and orders created by man and woman alike are weird. Human costumes are weird. Everything was mostly weird. Specially when it came to sex.

If humans were able to see their society, they would probably be disgruntled. For them, sex was just that, sex. Pure, simple and in different forms where everyone can participate. Everyone. Humans would be creeped by their incestous relationships and intercourses. Siblings bonded and resolved conflicts over sex, showing their love and care for each other. Mothers and daughters, father and sons, fathers and mothers with other fathers and/or mothers, all having simple unexplained sex for love, or because they wanted to. Nothing was too much.

That would disgust many humans, and, sincerely, certain other species too, but it's only natural for them. "Kinks", as humans call it, was nothing special or restricted or needing of consent. It was only there. Childrens were also very viril in the beginning of their first decade, but this was a very different case.

To have sex with a child or for a child to have sex, they needed consent. They were free, but not insane. They had laws and rules, very few indeed, but they did.

In the first case, the oldest one and the child signed legal documents describing their relationship and status to what they wanted to do, describing rules and what they could and could not do to each other.

In the second case, the child's and their parents signed a consent paper and taught the child's how to control urges and desires. Early pregnancy was no problem.

Capricorn, along with a few of her brothers and sisters, was an odd case.

As childs, they were trained under the king as soldiers and children of his own. By the first decade, Capricorn was taught how to retain her carnal desires, but to her, they never came. She waited for decades but nothing happened, so she focused on her studies and training, becoming a General almost effortless in a quick time. While others would take five or four centuries, she only took one, striding proudly through the streets with her soldiers and siblings. Many fancied her, womans and mens alike and even some of her siblings tried mating with her. She refused all. Of course, she was not unexperienced. At all. She was just...dominating, prideful and picky with her "prey". Her good looks along with her silver tongue helped and her scars were very attractive to most. Sex was what she usually did, mating and dating were out of question.

That is, until that day. The day she met her and everything changed.
