I have been going thorough a one-sided relationship recently, and honesty it's turned me into the container of some toxic sort of depression. It's hard when you love someone so much, and you want to protect them, yet the feelings are far from mutual, and it gets even worse if the person is already in a relationship, older or younger than you, or you know it just won't work out.
People can be so attractive to you, with their lovable quirks, and you try and try to show the same back, but it backfires. Going through many one-sided relationships, I can assure you it's a painful thing to be in one, and I keep thinking about those feelings.
