Hi, I'm... Well, I don't know my real name I was abandoned at 4 and the only things I remember being called was 'Operation Rebel', '7539', 'Brat' or 'Thing' but I had to give myself a name when I signed up for a tesserae. So I chose Destinee.
I live in district 12, the poorest district in the whole of Panem. I do what I can to keep alive. I'm 15 years old and I hate it... I have my name in that reaping bowl 62 times and I still have three years left before I am free of the games. I have three friends.
The first is Katniss Everdeen who is a year above me at school, we became friends after her dad died and I comforted her... after that we started to go hunting together everyday until we met this boy call Gale Hawthorne. Which leads me to my next friend, and yes you guessed it, Gale Hawthorne and my final friend is Primose Everdeen, who happenss to be Katniss' sister. We met because some children started to bully her so because I didn't know the rules, I knocked the first two out, but before things could get interesting, the teacher stopped me. After that they never bothered Prim again, I wonder why?
Well, I have to go now. I have to go hunting before the Games begin.
