ITS BRIDGET THE HEDGIE YA'LL! Ain't she just the cutest? :)

Her back story is dark though...let's just say her back story consists of originally being designed to destroy Earth -3- but lovely lovely Maria convinced Bridget's creator to have a different purpose. So Bridget's main purpose from then on was to keep Maria happy. Until the day Maria died, that is. Shadow, her loving brother, and Bridget were shipped off to different places. Shadow went to the Sonic gang, and Bridget was shipped somewhere else, with only a faint memory of a blond girl and black hedgehog. The only memento of Bridget's past that she has is her special locket. Of course, years later, now a grown woman, she moves near the Sonic gang, where she is finally reunited with her brother, and also she becomes very smitten with Sonic 0//3//0 but never, NEVER EVER bring up her past when she's around. Both she AND Shadow will ANNIHILATE YOU.
