The days passed by rather slowly for Michiko. Everyday was the same routine; she'd get up from bed, get ready for the academy, grab an apple, walk out the door and head towards the academy in a steady pace. Then, the same two boys always came busting into the door, and it was rare when they actually made it to class on time.
Now, Michiko was sitting on the ground reading a book. Since it was the weekend, Michiko had decided that instead of training like she usually did, she would sit back on her usual tree under the shade of a spring cherry blossom tree and relax while reading a book. That was until the sound of crying and shouts made Michiko snap her head up.
Deciding it was best to stop whatever the commotion was, she stood up, putting her book underneath her arms pits. She advanced toward the noise, her usual slow pace quickened. Her eyes narrowed as she spotted a group of girls surrounding another girl with pink cherry blossom hair. She walked slowly toward the group, making her steps intimidating as the group of girls turned towards her direction, seeing the short girl a few inches in front of them.
"Ganging up on a someone," her eyes hard and her voice threatening, "is pathetic."
A girl with purple hair was the one who broke the tension in the air. The girls posture screamed arrogant. "Tch, what do you care. Aren't you from that freaky clan that were rumored to use weird jutsu or whatever."
Although the girl spoke confidently, her eyes were clouded with fear as Michiko took another step forward.
"This isn't about my clan. This is about why your pathetic group of friends are trying to bully a girl." Michiko smirked, "It is rather lame though. How you had to get a whole group of people just to pick on one meek, petite girl."
None of the girls spoke. They were all too scared as the indigo haired girl narrowed her eyes into slits. The girls eyes flashed red before turning to its original color.
"I don't ever want to see you bully another person or there will be consequences."
"Y-yes!" they exclaimed, fear evident on their faces.
"Now, leave." All of the girls scrambled to run away from the scene, leaving the pinkette and her savior.
Michiko turned to walk back towards her tree when she heard someone shout for her to wait. Her back didn't turn but she tilted her head back, looking at the pinkette with a blank expression, but really, she was freaking out on the inside.
"Thank you for saving me." the girl timidly lifted her head from her gaze on the ground.
"I didn't save you. Those girls were just ruining the peace." Michiko replied with a bland tone.
The pinkette, being the intelligent girl she was, knew that the ravenette was just saying that she didn't save her because she was probably hiding behind a wall. A wall that she was determined to climb over.
Michiko started walking again, but was stopped by another shout. The wind blowing softly, making her hair move to the side as she turned.
"Can I at least know your name?"
"Seishin Michiko,"she said before walking away.
"My names Haruno Sakura." the rosette shouted after the stoic girl.

Michiko was, as usual, sitting at her spot in the back of the classroom, looking out the window. Iruka was teaching them about the history of Konoha and how it turned into the village they were today, but, being Michiko, she already knew most of the history (thanks to her clan) and was waiting for lunch to be called already.
Michiko felt the back of her hairs stand up on her neck. Someone was watching her. Her eyes immediately snapped away from the window and searched the classroom; finding a familiar shy girl looking at her.
"Okay, class. It's time for lun–" Everyone rushed out of the class before Iruka could finish, and he just sighed—a sign of annoyance.
The only people that were left in the classroom was Sakura and Michiko.
Michiko grabbed the scroll from her back pocket. The scroll was tiny—about the size of her thumb. Michiko infused a bit of chakra into it and the scroll became bigger and opened, revealing a single apple.
The raventte grabbed the apple and took a bit out of it. Slowly munching on it, she looked out the window, never noticing the rosette walking towards her.
"U-um, Michiko-san," the said girl turned around in her seat, looking at the taller girl. "Would you please accept this as a sign of appreciation, a-and maybe a sign of us being friends."
Michiko's eyes widened before going back to its normal size. She was the first person to ever approach her. She wasn't scared of how intimidating her gaze was or how rude she was to other people.
"T-tch, I might as well." a blush bloomed on her pale cheeks. "Wouldn't want for it to go to waste."
Michiko timidly grabbed the bento like it was glass, and a small smile graced her face, making her hardened eyes turn soft. "Thank you, Sakura-chan."
Sakura's whole face turned red at the way Michiko's face softened, but her face turned back to its original color and she sat in the seat next to the small girl.
The two girls talked—more like Sakura talked—and laughed—Michiko chuckled—all throughout lunch and when everyone came back for lunch, and they were all shocked to see Sakura next to Michiko, who was smiling softly. All the boys blushed at the small smile in her face, especially a certain boy with sliver hair.
