Two weeks have passed and everyday I spent it with Elijah he makes me smile I would do anything for him. Sometimes I would talk to Nik but then I would see Elijah and go talk to him. I was currently outside reading a letter my brother has sent me.

"Dearest sister a plague has gotten to our village. It was bad father got the plague I'm sorry that you weren't here to say your goodbyes to him. He told me to tell you that he loves you and will always be by your side. I have to leave our village cause everyone is might have the plague. Well by the time you get this letter I would be long gone from our village.

By the time I was done reading I was on the ground crying. How can this be my father is dead and I wasn't there to say goodbye. My vision is blurry that I can't even hardly see but I can her a voice a voice that can always calm me down.

"Hey Irina shhh everything is going to be okay" the beautiful angelic voice said I knew Elijah can always calm me down. "What is wrong? Are you hurt?" He said.

I calmed down just enough so I can tell him what is wrong. "My father he is dead and I didn't even get to say goodbye or tell him that I love him" I said but towards the end my voice cracked.

"Hey it's okay he knows that you love him" he said. I cried again I couldn't contain my sobs. "Shh listen to the sound of my voice everything is going to be okay" he said in a calm voice. I was sniffing. "Why don't we get you inside and cleaned up okay" I didn't know what to say so I only nodded my head.

I was done cleaning up and stopped crying. I picked up my dress and found Elijah staring out the window. "Elijah I'm sorry that you had to see my like that I feel like I should be happy around you" I said feeling embarrassed.

"No you don't always have to be happy around me and you shouldn't be sorry about you crying everybody does it. But I want you to know that it hurts me to see you crying" he said walking closer to me. Before I knew it I felt his breath on my cheek.

I looked at him in the eyes and I saw that he closed his eyes and leaned in. At that moment I knew I was ready to kiss Elijah because he has been there for me. I leaned in and I felt his plump soft lips on mine.

He made my insides scream i pulled him closer we soon pulled away because of the lack of air. He placed his forehead on mine all you can hear is our breathing.

"Goodnight Irina" he said before walking away and closing the door. I was baffled when he walked away without me saying goodnight back.

Elijah's P.O.V.

"Goodnight Irina" I said to her and left. I can't believe I kissed her I shouldn't have done that because the sacrifice that Niklaus has to do. I can't let that happen again better she hates me before she dies.

Irina's P.O.V.

few days passed since me and Elijah kissed I was in my room because I didn't want to face him. I was looking though my dairy until I found a rather interesting story.

I was done reading what I wrote in the story I was beyond shocked how my brother is a vampire and how my brother and father kept this from me. I picked up my dress and ran until I found Rebekah.

"Hey Bex."

"Hello Irina are you okay?" She said in a worried tone.

"Yea I just wanted to hangout with you" I said not trying to sound suspicious.

"Okay let's walk" she said rather confused on how I wanted to talk since I have been in my room for awhile.

I figured it out Elijah, Rebekah, and Niklaus they are vampires just like my brother. After fitting to pieces together it all made sense. I went to bed and I decided I was going to go see Elijah tomorrow.

I woke up and remember that I needed to talk to Elijah this morning I got up and found this dark pink dress and decided to wear it. I went down to go eat breakfast it was still early in the morning as I was walking around trying to find where he is I ran into Rebekah. "Hey Rebekah" I said.

"Oh hello Irina" Rebekah said.

"Hey have you seen Elijah?"

"Oh yea he said he was going to go outside for a bit" she said.

"Okay thanks Rebekah" I said. I picked up my dress and ran until I was outside I was walking around. I heard sticks breaking I walked closer to where it was coming from.

I saw bodies everywhere blood all over the ground and I saw Elijah with someone. "Elijah?" I said a little bit terrified. I saw the body drop on the ground he turned around with a guilty look.

"It's not what it looks like I mean it is but that is not the point" he said running at me at a unhuman rate. I ran I tripped and fell on my dress.

I see he was already behind me. "Please don't hurt me" I said in a scared tone. He stepped closer I moved back and got up.

"Irina I would never hurt you" he tried to keep his eyes on me but he kept looking at the side of my stomach and hand. I looked at my hand and stomach I was bleeding. I slapped him he looked at me under his eyes were vains he looked up at me with a worried expression on his face. I stepped back. "Run Irina" without hesitation or him asking me twice I ran.

I was running I could almost see that castle until I ran into Elijah. "Elijah please I know this isn't you it isn't your fault you look like a monster" I said trying to get him to stop but it wasn't working. He kept stepping closer I was going to run he grabbed my wrist. "Ow your hurting me Elijah."

He leaned closer I felt his breath on my neck "I'm sorry" was all he said before I felt pain.

"Aghhh Elijah please stop" I said. I felt myself going unconscious. "Elijah I love you" I said before I felt darkness the pain I felt in my neck was gone. "No no no I can't be dead my Elijah" I said breaking down crying.

Elijah's P.O.V.

"I'm sorry" I said I didn't know what I was doing or anything. But the taste of this persons blood was good I wanted more.

"I love you Elijah" was all I heard until the body went limp. I looked down and saw Irina.

"No no no no! This can't be I can't loose you" I said letting tears slip down my cheek I bit into my wrist and put it to her mouth but it was no use. She was gone I killed her. I picked her up and carried her to the castle I could hardly see because of the tears.

I heard Nik and Rebekah talking I walked in crying the looked at me with shock on their face. "No aghhh Irina" Rebekah screamed in horror. I dropped to my knees and cried Nik kneeled next to me.

He put his hand on my shoulder "it's okay come on let's get her cleaned up okay we can put a spell her on her to keep her young" he said apologetically. I handed her to Klaus he took her and walked out I almost forgot Rebekah was still here.

"I'm so sorry I'm so sorry" I said to Rebekah. She looks at me with sad eyes.

"It's not your fault brother" she said with sad eyes. "Now go get cleaned brother" she said looking away from me.

-Next day-

I went to her coffin and saw her beautiful face she was pale I had tears in my eyes. She looked magnificent in this emerald green dress and her natural curly hair.

I heard footsteps I turned around and saw Nik he walked up looked at her closed the coffin he put a lock on it so know one can get into it unless they needed to.
