I turned around and one my friends from high school was the one calling my name. His name was Bronx.

"Michael I haven't seen you since graduation" he said patting my back

"Yeah so how's life going" I asked him

"Thanks were having a boy I'm so happy" he explained

I dial Destiny's number and it ranged a couple of times. Luckily it answered

"Yes Michael?" She said softly

"I'll be home baby I'm leaving the clu-"

"The club.. the book club I'll be home in a few minutes" I said trying to play it off

I hung up after that and walked out the club to my car. I waved Tito goodbye and drove out of the parking lot

20 minutes later****

I pull in the driveway and look in my car window. I had a lipstick stain on my cheek. I wiped it off so fast and walked to the door. I unlocked it and walk in. Destiny, Janet and rima was sitting at the table laughing and stopped once they saw me.

"Hey brother" Janet said giggling

"Hey dunk" I said

Rima rolled her eyes and kept eating her grapes. Destiny got up and hugged me

"Hey baby" she whispered

"Hey honey.. somebody made food?"

"Not for you" rima said
